Tennis Elbow 4

For a bit of context, I've been playing tennis on real courts since I was six years old, and I've been playing video games since the Duke Nukem days. Even with that background, Tennis Elbow 4 still makes me work for every point. This is not the tennis game to buy if your first priority is flashy graphics, licensed players, or polished presentation. If that's what you're after, there are other titles that will probably be a better fit. But if you want a game that captures the feel of constructing a point, choosing the right shot, mistiming the ball, and finally hitting that clean winner you've been trying to pull off for the last three games... this is where Tennis Elbow 4 shines. The learning curve is real. It doesn't hold your hand, and it doesn't flatter you. Once the timing clicks, though, every rally becomes rewarding because you've earned it. I mostly play against the AI rather than online, and for that kind of challenge it's been more than worth it. It may not be the prettiest tennis game available, but beneath the graphics is an outstanding tennis simulation. Easy recommendation if gameplay matters more to you than eye candy.

What everyone says about this game: it is all true. It is by far the best sports game out there. Easy to learn, very hard to master. The variety of positioning, stats, type of shots and AI opponent behaviour is incredibly satisfying and challenging. The dev is answering any question minutely and personally (even if he had probably to answer those a million times before). The only negative is the UI and the way how you have to find how to use time so you can train (asked in community=dev answers next day!!!) But beeing normally a real downer it is forgivable here since the gameplay is soooo good! Modsupport through game interface, online play, superb AI - if you like sportsgames, go for it. If you like Tennis - must buy/play: infinite hours of high quality gameplay!

This Tennis game has a different playstyle then the usual button smashers. I play tennis for about 40 years and played a lot of tennis computer games. This game comes closest to the feeling i want to have when playing tennis. From the way your character moves, the way you hit the ball, it all makes sense. This also creates a large variety of gameplay, useable by the player and the bot. There is so much depth in this game that i could go on for hours about how great this game is for me. 100% worth the money i spend on it. CONS ? not really any cons, only stuff i can think of now is : * The menu or career hub could be less stiff. More "homey". * In career: some manager/agent bot to greet the player to the pro tennis world and be there with the player on his journey would be awesome. Just something to make you feel you are not totally alone up against the top tennis players of the world. * In career: the pre-tourney info is a bit lacking.

私は無類のテニスゲーム好きで、テニスゲームを見つけると最低100時間はやりこんでしまうのですが その中でもこのTennis Elbow4は「史上最高」のテニスゲームと言って良いでしょう 前作のTennis Elbow2013と含めるとすでに5000時間近くプレイしていますが、いまだに飽きません(笑) 物理演算と操作性がかなりリアルに近く、 打点とタイミングのシビアさ 現実に即したプレイヤーのフットワーク 球種の豊富さ（フラット、トップスピン、スライス…） ラリー中の繊細な駆け引き ポジショニングの重要性 サーフェイスごとの球種の重要性 …… 特徴を上げるとキリが無いのですが 従来のテニスゲームには足りなかったリアル感を極限まで追求されており、実際にテニスをしているような感覚を味わいたいなら、Tennis Elbow4一択です 没入感が半端ないので、ベストなポジショニングとタイミングで完璧なショットを打てたときはマジで脳汁が止まらないです また、MODを導入しなくても十分楽しめますが、MODを導入することで遊び方の幅が大きく広がり、長く楽しめるゲームになります ゲーム内の日本語翻訳も最近大幅に改善されており、Discordコミュニティも活発なのでゲームについて分からないことがあれば気軽に質問でき、丁寧に答えてもらえます Tennis Elbow4、テニス好きなら是非手に取ってもらいたい一作です

if topspin is like diablo, then tennis elbow is like dark soul. it'll re-wire your brain and muscle memory if you're coming from topspin or any other similar games. but each win, gives me that winning satisfaction even it's just a qualifying round for future game. i enjoy it for now, even though the learning process is kinda torturing.

I always thought Full Ace was the greatest tennis game. Kept trying Tennis Elbow on and off but it never really clicked. Then finally it did... and it's the GOAT of tennis games! If in doubt, stick with it, find settings that suit you and go for it!

Anfangs etwas schwierig zu verstehen, wie man vernünftig schlägt, ich brauchte einen 2. Anlauf^^ Aber der Trick ist einfach, man muss die Tasten gedrückt lassen, und in der Karriere einfach einpaar Turniere auslassen, dann erhält man richtig viele Punkte zum Verteilen der Fähigkeiten :)

Best Tennis Gameplay and most fun had in a while (since VT3).
