About
Embark on a journey through the Temple of Starlight, an abstract first-person puzzle game that challenges players to harness the power of light and color to navigate through intricate levels. Uncover the non-linear story of an ancient civilization that was struck by a devastating starlight disaster, and guide the people through this crisis.
Temple of Starlight offers over 30 different puzzle levels, resulting in around 2 hours of playtime. While prioritizing quality over quantity, we strive for this to be a short, but pleasant experience.

Discover the story of a catastrophic event from the ancient Saasil civilization, where a natural disaster caused the stars to fade and their primary source of energy, starlight, became unattainable. Uncover the challenges and struggles faced by the civilization as they navigate through this crisis.
As the player, you will play a critical role in the story of the rulers Red, Green, and Blue as they work to overcome the starlight disaster and safeguard their people. Your choices throughout the levels will affect the progression of the story.
The core gameplay of the game revolves around the manipulation of the primary colors of light - red, green, and blue. Test your additive color skills by adjusting the colors of light and experimenting with different combinations to manipulate objects and advance through the temple.
Experience an otherworldly atmosphere with mesmerizing colors and surreal structures. The unique visuals are elevated by a captivating, original musical score and immersive sound effects.
Temple of Starlight
Temple of Starlight is a puzzle game with minimalist and stylized graphics that heavily focuses on mixing colors to complete the puzzles. Gameplay The core gameplay element of Temple of Starlight is mixing colors by activating pillars that shine primary colors in front of them. Later on, this simple but enjoyable concept is going to get a bit more complex, which makes some of the puzzles a bit more difficult. Personal Note As far as I’m aware, Temple of Starlight was the first game that Enlit Games made and for that it’s a pretty solid game with a unique setting and gameplay idea. The story is easy to follow and the player can influence how the story proceeds throughout the game by making decisions which is neat and is probably enough to play through the game more than once. Back in August or October, I played the Demo of Temple of Starlight and I enjoyed it back then already but the voice acting was a bit off, which makes sense because it is the first game this studio made, but I’m glad to see that the voice acting improved since then. The overall art style of the game might seem very basic at first glance but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense to choose such a minimalistic and simple art style, since it doesn’t distract the player from the puzzles that heavily focus on mixing colors – so that’s honestly a good thing. All things considered, the only thing that is somewhat negative in a very subjective way, is the length of the game. Don’t get me wrong, about two hours of playtime is decent for a puzzle game like this. Temple of Starlight offers 35 levels and some Halloween themed levels too, so there is a lot to do, but I would have loved to have a handful of more levels because I genuinely enjoyed it – so take this “negative point” with a grain of salt, alright? Rating
Pros
Unique core gameplay idea
The art style fits to the vibe of the game
Interesting concept and design
Puzzle difficulty varies
The soundtrack fits

Cons
A bit short (1)
(1) As stated above, I enjoyed playing through the game and two hours of playtime is decent, I personally would have loved to play through another 35 levels because the puzzles just hit the sweet spot between easy and hard. That’s why it felt a bit short for me personally. Conclusion Is Temple of Starlight worth getting? I’d say so, yes – especially if you are into games that mainly focus on puzzles that vary in difficulty and get more complex later on. It took me about two hours to finish the game which is quite alright for a game that focuses on puzzles and for the price of 4€ it was an enjoyable journey. 7.4 / 10 “We must take the future into our own hands. I love the game so far, love the bold colors and how this game lights up and keeps my attention. The low poly and art style is just BELLISSIMO. I also love the puzzles and the use of additive color theory to solve the puzzles. The sound... both sound effects and the background sound made my experience so amazing. The story and voice acting gives a higher immersion and brings you closer to the game, because each level has more cues about what is happening in the story and it is just oof!! Perfect game for the price. Can't wait to get all the achievements and can't wait to see more of Enlit Games!!
ENG: Minimalistic but attractive graphics, puzzles with lights of colors that follow a narrative, in which we make decisions (with consequences) and a homemade voice acting, the price is pretty good too. EDIT: I just beat the game through one of its endings and I am really impressed, it's a very good job. Buy it.
Temple of Starlight, inceleme sayısının az olduğuna bakmayın. Kesinlikle oynanabilir alternatif tatlı bulmaca oyunlarından bir tanesi olduğuna emin olabilirsiniz. Fiyat olarak uygun olmasıyla beraber 2 saat içerisinde bitirebilir ve eğer memnun kalmazsanız iade edebilirsiniz.
Cool little puzzle game that manages to hit the sweet spot between easy and frustrating. Easy recommend for puzzle game fans.
I like shiny colours :) Gave me a solid challenge, so in turn please do the devs a solid and support them. Can't wait to see what's next
Just played this game and I have to say, I'm really impressed, given that it’s developed by students. The puzzle design is approachable and easy to grasp, while still being challenging and enjoyable. A must-play for avid puzzle players.
Minimalist puzzler where you mix (base) colours to progress. Sounds simple enough, and for the most part it is pretty straight forward. Click a button, point a beam or three, and off you go to next level and get stuck. Solution: Try not to overthink it. It is often a very simple solution to what seams to be a very complex puzzle. (The game can be a bit straining on your eyes with its bright colours, so best not to play for to long at a time) Extra point for full controller support, with rebindable keys.
The levels feel like creative 3D puzzles with colors. The art style is incredible, I haven’t seen a game like that. Feels retro. The story and visual elements together create an immersive experience and provide a nice break from the puzzle solving.
Neat puzzles with rewarding aha moments, great art direction, and interesting storytelling which gives me Outer Wilds vibes in terms of discovering, and in this case deciding, the fate of a civilization.
