Hidden Raccoons is an adorable but vanishingly short hidden objects game that tasks you with finding a total of (85) trash pandas across (4) levels. The pixel-art is lovely and adds an extra layer of challenge, requiring players to search for things like ringed tails or bandit faces rather than outlines. The trouble is that this game clocks in at ~10 minutes and features a lot of duplicate raccoon sprites, so it's kind of hard to recommend to others at $3 USD. However, I'm giving it a thumbs up because I personally didn't mind the price tag; I'm happy to support the studio behind Raccoon Cocoon and encourage more raccoon-themed HOGs and puzzles with detailed, hand-made art. I enjoy hidden object games from time to time, but this is just pathetic. Literal 12-minute game. Only 4 screens. Clicking on every single raccoon makes an achievement pop up. Some of the raccoons have like 5% opacity and are practically invisible, as if trying to prolong the game.
Classic hidden item mechanics, set in simple, yet beautiful pixel art, with trash pandas, what's not to love? Whilst it is super short, zero complaints from me. Good one for peeps who like to rack up achievements.
Lovely to see that other animals get a chance to hide too ;D Also awesome art, nice to see a different approch in this genre. Sadly like most of the games it is done way too fast
HIDDEN FORBIDDEN CATS.
What a cute little game <3 It took me about 10–15 minutes to find all 85 raccoons, and I only had to use the hint button three times, so it felt pretty easy. I loved the art style, but my favorite detail was that every raccoon has a name. The names show up in the achievements when you click on them and you never now what name it'll be next.
Simple but charming. Hidden Raccoons is a cozy little hidden-object game where you search detailed pixel-art scenes for tiny raccoons cleverly hiding around the map. There’s no pressure or timer, so you can just relax and slowly scan the environment for those little masked troublemakers. The art is colorful and full of small details, which makes the hunt fun—sometimes you only spot a tail or a tiny face peeking out somewhere. The gameplay is very straightforward, but it’s perfect for a calm, chill gaming break.
Mapache
Recommended, only if you really like pixel art and also enjoy replaying hidden objects games. The four pictures take about a half hour in total to clear. That being said the pixel art backgrounds are detailed and very nice to look at. Given the amount of effort put into the background art, the higher price tag for a short game is merited, compared to the typical line drawing with a white background. Also trash pandas! Some of them are hard to find but not too obscure. I woldn't buy it if you only plan to play through once, but if you like the art and plan to replay, it's worth it.
