Telefrag VR is a hellishly fast-paced shooter with visceral movement and combat mechanics. Dash, shoot, and teleport around unique arenas that feature impossible geometry where there is no right side up and death can come from any direction.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

EDIT: The product was received free at the time of writing this (Free weekend). They say they made improvements, tough I can't test again as I do not own the product. -Not sure what I played against, looked more like a glitch. -The rotation of the player after the teleport is horrible (well, it is needed by this map concept->bad map concept this type of game) -Teleport bubble to big -Weapons were only available as premade sets. After dying (at least some times) the game forced me to take a different set. + Screenshots look good

Amazing concept. No players. I hopped on this game and was only facing bots. Curious, I checked the Steam-charts for this game. I'm not messing with you I was the first player on their servers in a few weeks. When you check the Steam-charts as well, you also see that the game has unfortunately been dead since launch, only getting ~75 peak players on day of launch, before dropping down to below 10 players. 7/10 for the concept 0/10 for player activity over all review: 1/10, avoid unless the game goes free to play, then it might be worth playing.
Its very good but dead
玩一两次还是挺快乐的,但多来几次就无聊起来了...... 只有1V1模式,属实容易无聊
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

For some reason, it requires "a controller." And apparently my VR controllers, in this VR game, are not the right kind of controller. I've got no idea what kind of controller I have to use, and have been unable to play because of that.
I recommend
Telefrag VR, developed by Anshar Studios and published by Anshar Publishing, is a bold attempt to reimagine the classic arena shooter experience through the lens of modern virtual reality. Built around the concept of high-speed duels in futuristic, gravity-defying arenas, the game offers a mix of old-school twitch reflex action and unique VR movement mechanics. At its core, Telefrag VR delivers a fast, chaotic, and intensely vertical combat environment where positioning, timing, and awareness are just as important as accuracy. However, while the game brings some innovative ideas to the table, it also faces challenges that prevent it from reaching its full potential. The game's universe imagines a future in which the Roman Empire never fell but instead evolved into a technologically advanced civilization obsessed with gladiatorial combat. This narrative backdrop, while mostly aesthetic, informs the arena designs and atmosphere, blending ancient iconography with high-tech environments. The true draw of the game lies in its movement and combat systems. Players engage in 1v1 battles across a series of intricate, multi-level maps where teleportation is not just a means of traversal but a deadly offensive maneuver. The titular “telefrag” mechanic allows players to instantly kill an opponent by teleporting into their occupied space, creating a gameplay loop that rewards spatial awareness and bold tactics. Combat in Telefrag VR is built around dual-wielded weapons, each with primary and alternate firing modes. Players can mix and match loadouts to suit their playstyle, whether favoring explosive weapons, precision lasers, or close-range tools. The fluidity of switching between different offensive strategies on the fly is a key part of the appeal. More than just shooting, the game demands mastery of movement—players can dash, strafe, teleport, and attack all in one fluid motion, often while navigating levels that lack a clear “up” or “down.” The non-Euclidean arena design makes every fight feel disorienting in the best way, forcing players to think beyond traditional FPS layouts and consider attacks from above, below, and even around corners thanks to teleport gates. Visually, the game is functional but not overly ambitious. Its environments are clean and stylized, using sharp contrasts and distinct architecture to help players quickly orient themselves in chaotic matches. The color palette leans heavily on neon lighting and metallic surfaces, reinforcing the sci-fi theme. While the visuals aren’t pushing VR hardware to its limits, they serve the game’s fast-paced nature well, keeping the focus on clarity and reaction rather than visual spectacle. Audio design is similarly serviceable—weapon sounds are punchy, and spatial audio is used effectively to help locate enemies and incoming attacks. Despite its strong foundational mechanics, Telefrag VR is held back by several issues. Chief among them is the lack of an active player base. Since the game is primarily built around competitive multiplayer, the experience suffers when players are forced to fight against AI bots or wait long periods for matchmaking. While the bot AI is competent and can provide a reasonable challenge, it doesn’t replicate the unpredictability and intensity of human opponents. Without a consistent online community, many of the game’s systems—ranked progression, tactical diversity, and skill-based matchups—never fully come into play. Content variety is another limiting factor. At launch, the number of available maps and weapons is modest, and although each arena is thoughtfully designed, the rotation quickly begins to feel repetitive. There are no major progression systems, unlockables, or customization options to incentivize long-term play, and the absence of a narrative-driven single-player mode or co-op features means players who aren’t focused purely on PvP action might find little reason to return. The game's core loop is fun, but without a broader framework to support it, the experience can start to feel shallow over time. Comfort and accessibility in VR are also mixed. The game offers multiple locomotion options, including smooth movement and teleport-based traversal, to accommodate different comfort levels. However, the frenetic pace, combined with the unusual gravity and 360-degree combat, may still be disorienting for newer or more motion-sensitive players. Controls can take time to master, and the steep learning curve might be a barrier for casual players. Furthermore, depending on your VR hardware setup, the control responsiveness and visual clarity may vary, affecting performance and immersion. Telefrag VR is a game with a very specific appeal—it’s meant for players who crave competitive intensity, quick decision-making, and the kind of immersive, physical gameplay that only VR can offer. When everything clicks, it offers moments of exhilarating combat that few other VR shooters can match. Its teleportation system, in particular, adds a novel layer of tactical depth that sets it apart from other titles in the genre. But the game’s shortcomings—particularly its limited content, low online population, and lack of long-term progression—undermine the strengths of its core mechanics. In summary, Telefrag VR is an inventive and energetic take on the arena shooter, one that leverages the strengths of virtual reality to deliver fast, spatially complex combat encounters. It succeeds in offering something different within the crowded VR shooter space, with standout ideas like telefragging and non-linear level geometry. However, it ultimately feels more like a promising concept than a fully realized platform. For players who thrive on competitive VR and are willing to dive in despite the thin population, Telefrag VR can provide a thrilling, if short-lived, experience. For others, it may be a game best enjoyed in short bursts—or kept on the radar until it sees further development or community growth. Rating: 7/10
