It is a great rogue like, whit a lot of potentional to it. Its a good game for if you are borred. And it is contantly evolving all the time with the creator listening to the players.
Geweldig spel, echter mag er wel meer variatie zijn in early character design, wellicht een keuze in een knuffel zou ook leuk zijn aan het begin.
Tags: Topdown - Isaaclike Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Eternal Early Access. Subpar Isaaclike. Environment used to dispatch foes. Procedural generation mostly inept. Dumb enemy AI kited into traps over and over. No Xbox360 pad support. Thin progression. Proof of concept level of depth and polish. Procedurally generated levels recycles foes, bosses, and even entire levels routinely. Levels end abruptly after dispatching very few foes and start new levels constantly. Game has a fair bit of onscreen information about power ups you can use or stuff you collected, there is persistent upgrade system. Kind of like a browser flash game copy of Binding of Isaac. Except you cannot actually kill targets your self and must instead mostly use levers to trigger weapons and bait the AI into floortraps. There is no real difficulty spike, so you will be constantly just kiting around, activating levers, and being dumped into the next treasure/boss/regular dungeon room and repeating the process over and over again. The game felt all around cheap and not fully realized. Amateur voice acting sounds like some kid got coaxed into providing their talent to the dev team.
I saw this game a long time ago on Greenlight, and I thought to myself "This looks like The Binding of Isaac, but it has its own spin on it and it looks cool as buttox." So I decided to vote yes in hopes that it would one day make it to steam. I have waited a long time to see this game (In all truthfulness I forgot about it for the longest time so I missed out on its first public version) and it did not dissapoint me. The game is overall very fun and difficult once you get to the higher difficulties. All in all, I would say 10/10 would fall asleep and be sucked into the demon world again.
This is ok BoI inspired game. I like trap mechanics and level design of some bosses. But for me the biggest problem is screen shaking. After final boss the screen shaked so hart that the whole menu glitchet out to the right side. Bugs aside, some bosses just unplayeble because of screen shaking. The number of characters you can open is pretty few and sound effects are weak. Graphics and art style is nice and thematically coherent. Play this game only if you run out of all good BoI clones.
Poorling excuted, could be a good game if they actuially cared. Still in early access whoohoo. If this game took interst, then i would rather recommend The Binding of Issac: Rebirth or Enter the Gungeon
Ima be straight, I played this game twice. Once on stream multiple years ago and once today. Game has been in early access for what? 8 year?! And it still can't properly handle multi monitor setups. The amount of time my mouse is just lost somewhere on another monitor is crazy! I would've expected them to at least work out the larger bugs like mouses going off screen after all those years. It's also a bit too luck based for me, especially with you not actually having a weapon of your own by default, but thats a matter of taste i suppose. Fun game over all but i will be shelving it for a few years again in the hopes that after that i can actually play without dying because the mouse is somewhere in south carolina. would NOT reccomend spending cash on this unless the devs finally iron out the bugs and pull this out of early access hell after all those years.
