Game runs great, the controls are great. I've seen a few complaints about wheel support and honestly I haven't had the same experience. The key bindings I find annoying, If you don't own a shifter there is no way to change gears unless you switch to mouse and keyboard and do it manually which I hate. But besides that my logitech wheel controlled really well on this game. However, the NPC AI literally ruins the entire game. NPC pedestrians will stop in the middle of the crosswalk, sometimes when you pass them they do a 180 and turn around suddenly to get in your way. Running into them cancels whatever job you are doing and gives you a fine too which makes sense, but the speed limit for areas where there is a lot of crosswalks are absurd. You would NOT be trying to go 30MPH on such a small street with like 3 different crosswalks on it. The other cars will frequently not follow traffic laws, do not use blinkers, break check you constantly, and straight up sit at a traffic light or sign and not move, even if you honk your horn. They are programmed to wait for pedestrians but they will sit for WAY longer than they have to before a pedestrian NPC tries to cross, leading them to being stuck indefinitely if enough of the NPCS want to cross the street. Or sometimes they just stop forever because they feel like it. And it's not like this is rare either, over the first 6 hours ish I've played it's happened at least 10-20 times. The only way to fix it is to hope there is a way around or quit to menu. (I heard there is an option to call the police and get rid of the cars but I haven't found that) After reading some other reviews I've seen the dev actually KNOWS about the AI issue and has replied to multiple reviews complaining about the exact. same. damn. thing. Some of the reviews I saw were up to TWO YEARS OLD... DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. They are not interested in fixing it and the replies to feedback are performative.
REFUNDED!! The game works flawlessly... right up until I connect my PXN V9 Gen2. Apparently, my wheel's greatest feature is unlocking a hidden PowerPoint mode. The game starts stuttering every 2–5 seconds, and each freeze lasts anywhere from 2 to 10 seconds. Yes, I actually counted them because there wasn't much else to do. Each stutter gave me enough time to count every single one, reflect on my life choices, question my purchase, and convince my unemployed self to finally get a job. Heck, at this point, I'd rather be driving a real taxi than waiting for this slideshow to pretend it's a game. Somewhere along the way, counting the stutters became more entertaining than actually playing. For reference, my PC isn't the problem. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 GPU: RX 6600 RAM: 32 GB (2×16 GB) DDR4 3600 MHz This PC should be more than enough to run the game. I did find a temporary workaround: unbinding the wheel controls and binding them again. Sometimes it completely fixes the stuttering... sometimes it doesn't. It's basically a 50/50 gamble every time I launch the game, which is a massive deal-breaker. And don't even get me started on the bugs. I'm usually the type of gamer who doesn't give a s*** about bugs. As long as they don't break my progression or stop me from having fun, I can live with them. But this game somehow managed to test the limits of my patience. Out of all the games I've played, this is the only one that's frustrated me enough to sit down and write an essay. Some of the bugs I've encountered: - The AI occasionally chooses violence and crashes into me for absolutely no reason. - The AI stops at green lights. Either they're contemplating life, or they're waiting for the light to turn greener. - Every AI suddenly decides it's time for a group therapy session and blocks the entire road. - Invisible walls. Nothing says immersion like crashing into absolutely nothing. - Picked up an invisible passenger. Good to know ghosts use taxis too. That's all I could find for now. Not because that's all the bugs there are, but because this slideshow keeps preventing me from reaching the next slide. I paid my hard-earned money for this game, not to beta-test it. Anyway, that's enough of my rant. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I really do hope this gets looked into because I genuinely want to enjoy the game. I just can't when it's busy roleplaying as a PowerPoint presentation.
I wanted to like this game honest. I love the concept and I play American Truck Simulator but wanted a normal car driving NOT racing game. I truly wish I read the reviews when they said wheel and pedal support sucks because OMG it's terrible. It's weird sometimes you really have to turn the wheel in order to turn and sometimes it turns too fast and you almost lose control there's no consistency no matter how much you adjust the sensitivity. Then the traffic and driving speed. It's true people don't know how to drive cause they will randomly stop for no reason in the middle of the road or won't go once the light is green so you have to ride the horn to get them moving. Example you're in the middle of a turn a car is random stopped in the middle of the road like they were backing out but never started the driving away part. So you have to ride that horn to make them move. It's not good. Then the speed limit is so slow you barely get to press down on the pedals you're basically driving like SpongeBob with one big toe because you can't go too fast. Which understandable but make the speed limit feel like driving and not a slow cruise. Another thing is the shifting. Sometimes it doesn't read the change in shifts so you have to do it multiple times before it computes. Not good caused me to crash so many times because it didn't read i was down shifting or shifting into first or reverse from neutral. When driving thing like this NEED to be on point Again i wanted to like this game I like the concept but it needs ALOT of work in my opinion yet it does have potential. You have to allow actual driving to occur its mostly stop, go , slow turn , wait , beep horn , stop , go , stop , go. You barely drive for a driving game. I feel like I'm playing bumper cars more than driving in a driving game
zawsze można jakos sie nauczyć jezdzic
This game is very unoptimized. I like the concept, but man, this game struggles to run even on descent settings.
people cant drive, road rage is real.
