About
Build and decorate your tavern, hire staff, stock your larder, meet the locals, be the boss and run the show! Whether you keep a cosy neighbourhood taphouse or a lean, mean gold-minting machine, the choices - and consequences - are yours.

Dozens of intertwined game systems create unpredictable emergent situations. Dirt, heat, noise, flammability, sickness and of course, a parade of colourful customers all keep the unexpected coming.

Today’s situation: Half of your staff are in bed with sleep-sickness. Orders are piling up and patrons’ tempers are getting heated. So is the tavern - because it’s on fire! A spark from a broken lantern landed on just the wrong patch of dirt with no one around to notice. Oops, perhaps it’s time to call the fire brigade...
An expansive narrative campaign lets you build taverns across a vibrant world full of your favourite fantasy cultures. Each new location brings fresh challenges and surprising stories. Meet immortal elementals, outwit halfling philosophers and aid a crazed orc inventor.

Experience a magical storybook fully-narrated by Steven Pacey. Encounter hundreds of bite-sized stories with a surprise at every turn. There’s always someone needing the guidance of a Tavern Keeper like you. What choices will you make?
Decorate every nook and hollow of your tavern to create everything from bustling taprooms to relaxing reading corners. Place and manipulate thousands of items anywhere with complete creative freedom and make the tavern of your dreams.

Go beyond decorating and become a master artisan by using Tavern Keeper’s powerful Design Mode to craft unique furnishings. Combine pieces, add magical effects, then share your creations with the Tavern Keeper community.

Play the single-player campaign your way with adjustable game mechanics and storyteller settings or play in Freeplay for a custom challenge. Pick Challenging and strategize over every decision, barely making it through each day, or play a Relaxed game running the tavern of your dreams without pressure. The choice is yours.

Love this game, can´t wait for the full realese!
This WHOLE game should be about the tavern you get in the Haflington (THE SHIRE ) then it would be 10/10!
You would think the story would be for kids, and it is, but its still surprisingly fun and easy to get into. Also like that construction doesnt require pawns, so you can move and restructure everything without it taking forever and being stressful. If you are having any trouble, just get some cheap nighttime pawns who rotate out with your beds, and set them up to do maximum polishing/janitoring and chores. aka cooking bread. and put all your best cooking/servers from 1 to 12pm. stuff works pretty seamlessly, i just wish that pawns could work a tiny bit longer so that they can swap out the same bed with inverse schedules

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cute aesthetics, fun campaign. Well polished for early access; seems like about half the content is there, looking forward to the release of the rest of the game.
can't wait for further stories to be released
I thoroughly enjoyed this game so far! I've binged 32 hours in 5 days because it was so easy to get into. I've done all the scenarios, earned most of the achievements I could (that didn't involve serving a large x amount of patrons/tables, etc.) and dabbled in the freeplay and finally hit a point where I kinda feel like I did it all. I love the layout and structure of the game. It has great instructions, easy UI to navigate to follow up on things like menus, ordering, upcoming customers, staff, and even an easy way to screenshot, circle and report bugs. So many new games are cookie cutter, AI slop that's thrown together. This actually feels like it was made with care and a passion. I like that there's several things that are inaccessible as it's part of future release updates so you can get excited about what's up and coming (though in the moment, it's not always made clear that it just isn't actually part of the game yet). The storyline is very well done!! The voice actor(s) did an amazing job and I love that they genuinely put care into navigating different tones and accents for genders, ages, races, etc. There's a lot of humour and options that can lead to different results. There are definitely things that need work too: - Employee management - it's a little challenging to try to follow up with each individual employee to check in on their moods and what they're doing. I've had several that were just constantly unhappy and despite checking their happiness meters for feedback, or for their likes/dislikes, it was hard to navigate how to get them back in good standing. - Managing janitors can be exhausting. Trying to redirect them to focus on specific areas is very tedious and repetative. I wish you could set a whole room as a priority orders so they just clean it from top to bottom before moving to the next room. - As someone said, servers can't multi-task. Despite often having 3-4 servers at a time during peak hours, people were still ignored or neglected. Overall, I had a lot of fun getting lost in this world. I can't wait for new updates to be released and to come back and enjoy it all over again.
awesome cozy, but at later stages, challenging game for me the challenge was to get rid of dirt, managing staffrooms/workers and also buy enough wares to supply the demands but not too much that it rots. i can see that this gets more complicated as the game grows. for now i finished all 3 campaigns and it was a lot of fun. totally worth the money :)
What makes Tavern Keeper so appealing is how it treats your tavern like a real, bustling place instead of just a collection of stats. The way you arrange your tavern really matters. Where you put tables, how the bar flows, kitchen access, and staff paths all combine to create obvious bottlenecks or clever efficiencies. If something goes wrong, it’s usually clear why: failures aren’t hidden away in numbers, but shown right in front of you. The dice-driven story events fit into this flow surprisingly well. They add a layer of uncertainty that keeps the management side lively and tense, feeling more like outside pressure than random punishment. Smart planning can ease the impact of bad rolls, but there’s always enough risk left to keep things interesting. Overall, it’s a tavern management game where order, chaos, and chance feel comfortably intertwined. Cozy at first glance, with a satisfying amount of depth underneath.
優秀經營類酒館遊戲 有遇到人物卡住的BUG,但沒有太影響對遊戲的體驗 期待未來更多更新 8.5~9.5/10 分的好遊戲
Instant classic. The management side is quite light compared to titles I love but the charm is off the chart and that carries the game. Looking forward to the rest of the content.
