The dice rolls simply are not random. You will find the computer AI geting the exact rolls to trash you, over and over again. This makes the game VERY frustating. I probably will not play it again. But I must make things clear: The game is amazing, even for those who are not found of Backgammon. The problem is with this digital implementation. I recommend the original (physical) game to everyone. If you can, buy it, and play with some humans, that won't (hopefully) cheat on you.
Tatsu is good. Single-player gets a bit dull after a few games but multiplayer is more what it's about
basically a board game, similar to backgammon.
Great variant of backgammon where rather than a race to the end your pieces battle around in a circle and your goal is to hit your opponent's off the board. The presentation is pretty barebones but the game plays fine and the AI seems to provide a decent challenge. The game is really simple though so check up the rules to see if you think it's something you might enjoy (it plays exactly the same as the tabletop boardgame version). Many of the negative reviews are from people who complain that the AI cheats with favourable dicerolls; this is just confirmation bias (how many people have complained that the shuffler is rigged in Magic Online / Hearthstone for example...)
:) So, the digital edition of the Tatsu board game. A game for two players. The plot of the game is tied to an ancient Japanese legend about the epic battle of two dragon lords and their armies for the hand of the princess. As a result, the inhabitants of the surrounding lands asked the magician to do something about this disgrace and the magician locked the dragons in a kind of arena, saying that the dragons would only be able to leave when they finished the battle, which continues to this day. The essence of the game is to deprive the opponent of the opportunity to continue the game by knocking down all his stones (dragons) from the field, or by knocking all stones of the same color from the field. The rules are simple. The party usually does not last long, so the game is very suitable for people who do not like lengthy board games. In general, the game resembles backgammon, but only in general terms. The game is well done. It looks very cool. The music in the game is also good. But there are also disadvantages in the game. The first minus is the randomness of the roll of the dice values when playing with the computer. He, random, no. The computer in 9 out of 10 cases very accurately throws out the necessary values and easily removes the player's stones from the field. And the developers don't seem to be going to do anything about it. They simply ignore this problem, although the players have already spoken about this to them more than once. On an easy level of difficulty, you can win against a shamelessly cheating computer, but on an average and difficult level, it is almost unrealistic, and not interesting either. Therefore, a real player is needed for a normal and interesting game. Hence the second minus - the game has a very low online. There are almost no players with whom to play. It's a pity, the game is really very interesting. As a result, I can only recommend it to those who really love board games. I do not recommend buying for full price. I will rate the game 4 out of 5, because randomness performed by a computer player is fly in the ointment in this game. For this, thank you for your attention and good luck to everyone. Play good games. :)
I only played two rounds, I lost and won once. There seem to be no strategy involved, just a complicated version of Ludo. Vine dragons are so weak they might be as well used as fodder, water dragons unreliable. I was bored the second I clicked play. Might consider playing it again if there are strategy guides for it.
