it's hauntingly beautiful. i enjoyed every last bit of it, a lot more than the first game which if i remember right, is a lot shorter than this. the puzzles are engaging but not outright difficult. the voices are very calming to listen to, the music too. it's worth the whole 6 hours of play time, kept me engaged the whole time. i didn't realize i've been playing for hours at all. 10/10 🐾

I bought this game because I liked the previous game in the series. To keep it simple, here's the list of what I didn't like: 1. The ending makes no sense. The culprit basically comes to main characters, does a very lengthy confession, only to proceed to knock out detectives (despite having access to a murder weapon, which they could've used to kill the main characters, if they had a brain) and run away from the mansion while not taking the very thing they admitted to want to take. According to the official reply to one of the negative reviews ending was made this bad specifically so people can make their own theories. I strongly dislike such move - it feels like an excuse not to make a proper story. 2. Sally from the previous game (Detective Grimoire) is now Detective Grimoire's sidekick for some unexplained reason. I don't know why but this character felt a bit forced and makes Grimoire look even dumber. 3. Main characters are very eager to explain how to solve puzzles. Because of that they are too easy to solve. A separate "hint" button would've been better than automatic hint.
Very fun to play. Made my year.
Such an amazing game! I truly enjoyed every aspect of it from the writing to the music to the voice acting to the art style to the story itself. It is just such a fantastic game, I couldn't put it away when I started. The mystery and the puzzles are so fun and gripping. Might genuently be my favourite game ever!
mystery surrounds an isolated home, choking on it's stagnation and inability to make sense of itself from unspoken foundations, it's residents despondant and trapped: until a fundamental shift occurs. freya fellow, a promising young woman of one of the prominent families on the island, is somehow murdered while painting a fellow inhabitant. short, but effective, tangle tower is a delightful and charming mystery visual novel with fun puzzles and deeply enjoyable characters. if you enjoy mystique, please give this game a try.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I enjoyed the aesthetics to much that I scanned through all the art book just to see more of the designs and their history. Play this game and the new game The Mermaid Mask.
