About
Originally released in 1983 by Games Workshop, Talisman is an iconic fantasy board game where players roll dice to explore a land filled with perilous quests, enemies and challenges, battling to be the first to the center of the board.
In 2008, the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman was released and went on to become a beloved version of the game within the Talisman community. Talisman: Digital Classic Edition is the officially licensed digital adaptation of that Revised 4th Edition version, featuring the full ruleset and access to all the expansions and content released for the Revised 4th Edition.

In Talisman, you choose from a roster of characters who have unique strengths, weaknesses and special abilities. Select your adventurer carefully as their skills could be the key to you getting your hands on the mighty Crown of Command. A magical artifact that holds the power to destroy all rivals, the Crown of Command has the power to make the bearer the true ruler of the kingdom.
Your adventure to the Crown of Command won’t be an easy one. You’ll need courage, patience and some good dice rolls to survive the dangers you will face. Deadly monsters, tricky traps and magical disasters will try and stop you at every turn!
Grab up to 5 friends online or locally and delve into a Talisman adventure! Online games can be saved and continued at a later date if needed, so no need to worry about time limits! Or if you fancy looking your opponents in the eyes as you face them in deadly combat, Talisman: Digital Classic Edition can also be played in hot-seat mode.

Do you see yourself as Good, Neutral or Evil? Depending on which character you decide to play they’ll have a pre-set alignment which can change how you will interact with spaces. However, alignment can be changed throughout the game if you encounter certain cards or spaces.

As you adventure through Talisman anything could happen… Most spaces on the board will require you to draw one or more Adventure Cards. These cards could reveal an Event, Follower, Enemy, Places, Stranger or Objects which could include powerful weapons or magical artifacts.
Adventure Cards are critical to building your character’s inventory and becoming more powerful.

Before you head to claim the Crown of Command, you need to make sure you’re powerful enough! The challenge ahead isn’t an easy one, the Inner Region is fraught with danger and creatures with high Strength and Craft.
Levelling up your characters Strength, Craft, Lives, Fate, and Gold isn’t too difficult, but you can lose it just as quickly…. You can pick up resources by earning Trophies, visiting certain Place Cards or spaces on the board or through the Objects you find.
When you’re strong enough it’s time to climb the steep steps up to the Crown of Command, where you can conquer all and rule your kingdom.
Talisman is a game like no other… Are you ready to do what it takes to rule the land?

If you thought the RNG in X-Com was bad, this game doesn't just take it to the next level. It takes it to the stratosphere! An unenjoyable experience skewed heavily towards bad luck RNG dice rolls, and overall just a majority of negative encounters and events. At least 75% of my rolls ended in defeats in battle or negative events. And the remaining 25% were "successful" rolls on tiny gains like finding a single gold coin. Whoop-de-doo! My very first game impression: While my character is being manhandled by bandits, stomped in the dirt by demons, and cursed by hags, the wizard is blasting his way across the map in epic style, slurping up items like a high-performance Dyson vacuum cleaner. By now, the dwarf is so powerful, he's going toe to toe with dragons. After easily dealing with them, he waddles over to the end and starts spamming Crown of Command like an angry baboon after his 10th Red Bull. The AI vegetarian (druid) is not doing as well as the other demigods, but is fortunate to not be in my position. Spending my last moments giving the Poltergeist the piggyback ride of his haunted little unlife, my own life finally ends and the warrior worries no more. The End. While I was busy at failing almost all my die rolls, I was also bullied by thieving AI and encountering bandits who stole every coin I had. So even rerolls were denied to me since I couldn't spend coins to refill my fate tokens. I also didn't see the AI players getting a single curse, whereas I was constantly receiving a barrage of terrible luck. Not only being cursed by a hag and losing the single follower I had, but also soon after being cursed by the Poltergeist which limited my movement to one square per turn. The Poltergeist movement penalty is devastating, and when I found myself at the opposite side of the map from being able to get across the river, and also couldn't find a raft, it felt hopeless. This game is basically something you play with friends to laugh at each other's misfortunes. That's it. Single-player devolves into waiting for the AI to finish their god-tier luck turns, click "roll" to fail, and then rinse and repeat. Even at the highest speed, it feels very slow. I appreciate the sale price, but I don't think the RNG is worth the misadventures.
it's like monopoly but everyone dies
great game, The expansions are a great addition to the game and are very enjoyable. definitly recommend the city expansion if you can get it.
It's terrible solo. It would be average or lower if played multiplayer face to face.

Лучшая настолка, которая может развлечь , местами длинная - но правила безумно лёгкие просто кидай куб ходи и читай что написано .
