Very fun little RPG Maker game! Short, even shorter than my play time, but engaging and fun. Definitely worth a pick up.
-------------------------------------------------------------- The game itself I don't know if it can be called RPG since you don't level up, you don't change armor, etc. There are probably no more than 30 combats in the entire game. There are 3 different stories, where the main plot of the game turn around at a demon and a mask. The story is pretty good, It is undoubtedly its main aspect. It has achievements and cards. I recommend, 100% complete with all your achievements. The truth is that I had this game in my Steam library for years and decided to try it once and for all... it did not disappoint like all Critical Games games.

Bad
A short game and not hard at all. But still a fairly nice game.
A very cool way of telling a story of a powerful evil facing multiple generations of heroes. The gameplay is pretty simple, but it fits well for this game. The story is the most important part, rather than combat. That said, there's a bit of a difficulty spike for the enemies in the final chapter. (Fortunately, the final boss feels relatively balanced. Challenging without being frustrating—no one-shot attacks if you're paying proper attention. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it, and I actually appreciate that it was a nice, short play. Well done!
First of all, this game is not for everyone. What you get here is really old school JRPG, with the graphics of the first Final Fantasy or Phantasy Star. It is a low budget game from a solo developr. I went into the game knowing that 1. it was short (3 hours) and 2. people in the reviews were praising the combat. That kept me from dropping the game after 20 minutes, and I don't regret it. After some battles, I develope a GENUINE appreciation for the combat system (if I'm to pick two, I would say the protection battle in chapter 2 and the final boss). It is really well designed to make you look for patterns, think turns ahead and find alternatives. Having said that, it is a extremely simples game. No equipment, no level up, 1vs1 fights. But it was nice for a change, it was interesting to play and watch the story unfold.
