it's... not bad, but not great. i bought this while playing on a minimum spec travel gaming laptop that by all measures of their "minimum spec recs" should definitely not have been able to handle it on high, but it did so there's that plus. needless to say it..... didn't scratch that Elder scrolls itch. it seemed.... lacking. like.... severely. you get 3 main map areas, each with only one main "hub" there are almost minimal npcs to meaningfully interact with, and if you mainline the story the game can be comp'd in 3-4 hours. it's just.... bare. it was enough to keep me mildly entertained while i was in my hotel on "sit and wait duty" for work, but there's almost no replay value unless you're achievement hunting or a 100% purist. even though it was an afterthought, the third person desperately needs polishing (yes i know the game was never intended for third person). it's like they took the idea of the knights of the holy grail, ran with it for a bit, then got bored and said well ♥♥♥♥, now what? i wish there was a "mehh" option on steam cause i don't wanna rec it but also don't wanna down it... so mehh.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The strongest part of the game is its dark, creepy and mysterious world. Exploration actually feels rewarding: abandoned ruins, hidden locations, notes, caves and small stories are scattered everywhere, constantly encouraging you to go off the beaten path. It has that old-school RPG feeling, similar to Oblivion, where exploring the world itself becomes a major part of the adventure. The character progression is also well done. Building your character feels meaningful, and new abilities or equipment can noticeably change your playstyle. The combat system is surprisingly solid - parries, blocks and dodges make fights more dynamic and prevent them from becoming simple button mashing. The dialogue and storytelling deserve special mention as well. The game does not reveal everything immediately, instead letting the player slowly piece together the lore and the bigger picture through exploration and conversations. It has its rough edges, but the strong atmosphere, deep worldbuilding and classic RPG elements make Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon one of the most interesting RPGs in recent years.
The game is EMBARRASSINGLY Un optimized. You will experience severe stuttering and frame drops even on the lowest graphics settings. I have a beefy PC and no other game even comes close to how piss poor this game runs. Its not even worth it for 20 bucks on sale let alone 50. Devs, optimize this trash AI generated (yes its AI) slop fest and fix your game. This is a joke and theres a reason no one is buying it currently. OPTIMIZE THE F***ING GAME IDIOTS WE CANT EVEN PLAY THROUGH IT LMAO
I got someone to make himself a zombie lmaoooo. Freaking love this game
Better than Skyrim!!
boy did this game trick me. they padded the first few hours with enough content to make you think it's an intricate fresh new RPG in a fresh new setting with interesting story, combat, and quests. instead it's actually another generic fantasy RPG. *semi open world (map is broken up into progression zones) *world is NOT HR giger freaky bio fortress stuff. it's generic fantasy. cookie cutter LOTR fantasy world. *story..... BAD, in act 2 and I could not care less about king arthur, or this troubled land. *difficulty - either easy, bonk, kill in 1 hit, or very hard unkillable enemies. do sidequests to increase your numbers, trivialize content, enter next progression zone and bandits 1 shot you. do more side fetch quests, repeat.
Arthur
The game made me feel like when I played Skyrim and Dark Souls for the first time. Both amazing experiences and, if Tainted Grail was as good as in Act I and II during the rest of the game, this could've been one of my favorites. However, it is clearly unfinished. The end of Act II and the entirety of Act III feel rushed, unfinished, incoherent and buggy as hell. It saddens me because I was loving the experience and even thinking of going NG+ but either I won't or just rush it to get another ending. If you REALLY want to play THIS SPECIFIC game, you will love it. If you are on the fence, you'd better go mod Skyrim again.
