About

Tails of Trainspot is a relaxing logic puzzle game set on the peaceful Packan Islands. Lay railway tracks to connect numbered stations, uncover the island’s secrets, and meet charming animal residents. With a gentle pace, cozy art style, and delightful mini-games, it's a thoughtful escape into a world of whimsy and wonder.

Solve grid-based puzzles where each station’s number tells you how many rails must connect to it. Plan your routes carefully—rails can’t cross or overlap, and every station must be part of a single connected network. Simple to learn, deeply satisfying to master.
As you explore the islands, you'll meet curious animal residents and uncover hidden myths buried in ruins. The Packan Islands are more than just a puzzle board—they’re a living world filled with character and charm.
Take a break from rail building with cozy side activities. Assemble bento boxes, run a drink bar, or roll sausage dice with the locals. These mini-games add warmth and variety to your island journey.
With its soft, industrial-age aesthetic and calming soundscape, Tails of Trainspot is designed to soothe while still offering satisfying challenges. Perfect for puzzle lovers looking to unwind without sacrificing depth.
Let the tracks guide you through tales, tea, and tranquility.

很有趣ㄉ小品遊戲
This game has both good points and bad points. First the good points. Most of the gameplay was fun. I enjoyed the first levels of puzzles. Interestingly enough, they were broken up with creating bento boxes, making and serving boba tea and various other puzzles. That was a nice touch to break up the repetitive puzzles. The graphics weren’t bad. They weren’t stellar but they sufficed. One positive note is that it played flawlessly from my external hard drive. Most games will not. I have to move them from my hard drive over to my internal drive to play them. BRAVO that this one doesn't require that!!! I spent nearly 10 hours playing and finishing this game. Obviously, I enjoyed the puzzles...to a point. More on that. Now for the bad points. The English translation (which is written dialogue) isn’t precise. Words are missing, punctuation omitted and words incorrectly used to name a few mistakes. Interestingly, when you hear the creatures “talk,” it sounds very much like the creatures who talk in Animal Crossing. I kept wanting to quit and go play ACNH! Several times a character’s dialogue was very long and it advanced to the next screen without me getting a chance to read it. Therefore, I missed some of what was “said.” It was the worst with the one referred to as “glasses girl.” The “story line” was strange. Some of it was entertaining. It was interesting that it had a bit of Bible reference at the end. I won’t go into detail of what, so as to not spoil it for those that are interested in playing it. One big problem I had with the game was when I only got two stars and wanted to restart a level. (Yes, it’s best to get the three stars on each level.) Every time you restart a level, you cannot bypass the dialogue/story. You have to see/read it again and again and again. There should be a skip story/dialogue button or it should skip automatically if you’ve already seen it. One of the worst parts of the game was the last levels which were timed. Up until this point, it was a cozy, relaxing game. Exactly the kind of game I enjoy playing. Then there was a ridiculously FAST timer that one had to play SEVERAL levels before it ran out. I HATED that! Had I known that this was in the game, I would not have played to the end. Actually, if I had known that I would be timed, I wouldn’t have bought the game in the first place! I'm not happy that I have to give this game a thumbs up or a thumbs down. It doesn't deserve an "A" but it certainly doesn't deserve an "F" either. All in all, I, mostly, had fun playing the game. I got to a point where I started ignoring the story since it was advancing before I could read it. Of course, like I said, if I had to restart a level, I just kept clicking the mouse cursor until the actual playing level began. All of this said, I would only get this game if it was on sale as there are quite a bit of things that need fixing.
休閒輕鬆的數學邏輯解謎,除了最後
幾關倒數秒數有點少到變成記憶遊戲
。 美術好看,劇情簡單。
Tails of Trainspot is a small puzzle game based of the japanese puzzle game called Hashi where you have to connect a set of train stations with rails. It is small and not that hard, but well made with well working controlls. the initial angle of view is a bit flat so I suggest too adjust it in each level first to a top down view which makes it easier to see the puzzle. I grabbed the title in a sale and I am not unhappy about it. If the price is too much for you out of sale for 3-4 hours of entertainment, just set a wishlist and wait for a sale.
This is a puzzle game with cute animal characters. Your job is to connect stations, based on the numbers on each station (which shows the number of lines that need to be connected to each). The puzzles start simple and ramp up in difficulty. Each island has a different puzzle mechanic you must contend with. The characters and story are okay but I was getting bored with both towards the end.
TRAIN GAME! Only thing I couldn't figure out is how to unlock the second to last level.
You know what I really freaking hate? When you're playing what's supposed to be a relaxing logic puzzle game and then suddenly they decide that the final levels have to be against a clock. And then they set the clock at an absurdly low time. And then they make them staged levels where if you screw up a later stage, you get booted all the way back to the first stage. And then they change the individual stage puzzles so that you can't gain from having previously completed them. Can I do this sort of thing? Yes. Is this what I started playing the game for? Absolutely not. "Relax"... "challenge your mind"... "cozy"... "logic puzzle"... How about reading your own store page description?
Tails of Trainspot is a calm, methodical, and quietly charming puzzle adventure that blends classic logic challenges with gentle worldbuilding and a cozy sense of exploration. Developed by Poly Poly Games in collaboration with Kibi Games and published by indie.io, the game invites players into the Packan Islands, a tranquil archipelago inhabited by friendly animal characters and connected through a growing railway network. Rather than pushing urgency or high-stakes drama, the experience is built around patience, observation, and the steady satisfaction of solving well-crafted puzzles at your own pace. The core gameplay revolves around railway logic puzzles inspired by number-connection mechanics. Each map presents a grid dotted with stations, each marked by a number that dictates exactly how many rail connections it must have. Tracks can only be placed horizontally or vertically, they cannot intersect improperly, and all stations must ultimately be connected into a single functioning network. The rules are immediately easy to understand, but the challenge emerges from how tightly the puzzles are constructed. As maps grow more complex, space becomes limited and every placement matters, encouraging careful planning rather than trial-and-error. The puzzles reward foresight and restraint, delivering a strong sense of accomplishment when a seemingly impossible layout finally comes together. What elevates Tails of Trainspot beyond a purely abstract puzzle collection is its integration of these challenges into a broader journey across the islands. Progression is framed as exploration, with each new region introducing fresh environments, characters, and subtle narrative threads. The inhabitants of the Packan Islands are curious, warm, and lightly whimsical, offering small bits of dialogue that flesh out the world without overwhelming the player. This narrative layer is understated but effective, giving context to your work and making each completed rail network feel like a meaningful contribution rather than a detached brain teaser. The game also varies its pacing through the inclusion of small side activities and mini-games that break up the main puzzle flow. These diversions are intentionally light and optional, serving more as moments of relaxation and character than as additional challenges. Whether helping locals with simple tasks or engaging in playful distractions, these segments reinforce the game’s cozy tone and prevent the experience from becoming mentally exhausting during longer play sessions. Visually, Tails of Trainspot adopts a soft, storybook-inspired art style that emphasizes warmth and clarity. The environments are colorful without being busy, and the clean presentation ensures that puzzle elements remain easy to read even in more complex stages. This visual restraint works hand in hand with the game’s relaxed philosophy, keeping frustration low and focus high. The soundtrack complements this approach beautifully, offering gentle, unobtrusive music that supports concentration while enhancing the sense of calm that defines the overall experience. Difficulty progression is handled thoughtfully, gradually introducing more demanding configurations without sudden spikes. The game trusts players to learn through engagement, and mistakes are easy to undo, encouraging experimentation without penalty. This design choice makes the game accessible to newcomers to logic puzzles while still offering enough depth to satisfy experienced players who enjoy dissecting tightly designed challenges. Overall, Tails of Trainspot is a carefully balanced puzzle adventure that values clarity, atmosphere, and thoughtful design over spectacle. It is a game that encourages you to slow down, think things through, and enjoy the quiet pleasure of solving problems in a welcoming world. For players who appreciate logic puzzles wrapped in a cozy, narrative-driven framework, it delivers a consistently satisfying experience that feels both mentally engaging and emotionally comforting from start to finish. https://youtu.be/7OkQrNAkORQ Delightful setting and characters are great, but the rather simplistic puzzle design doesn't carry the primary elements of the game.
