Taiko Frenzy

Ignore my playtime im fat and out of shape to play long periods. This game is super fun im sure that the gameplay will not change so i can have a fair assumption of the game. if you want a super easy to learn easy to master vr rhythm game with some pretty good songs AND custom song support grab it its super cheap for how well done it is.

Really great rhythm game! Definitely has a few bugs still and could use a lot of features, but having custom songs built-in and collectibles early on really adds to the experience. Hoping this game gets more attention and updates soon!

It's not that great honestly. The interface felt like it was first developed for PC/console and then adapted to VR and overall not very polished: you need to click buttons for everything, no option to move the drum, no calibration minigame (seriously?). Did you seriously expect me to click on each item in your stupid taiko pass and then click claim instead of actually drumming? Just play a better game imo.

Très bon jeu musical. La musique les décors, les couleurs tout est là pour faire plaisir aux joueurs. On s’y croirait ! Il faut un petit peu d’entraînement et pour moi le premier mais un bonheur d’y jouer !

This game knows what it wants to be and does that one thing well. If you got a headset and don't want to buy a drum to play Taiko, this is your best bet.

As of writing this review Taiko Frenzy has only positive reviews, and for good reason. This game is definitely a breath of fresh air in the VR rhythm game scene. The gameplay itself is very fun and unique to other taiko games as it splits the notes into two lanes. The game has four OSTs (my favourite is the second) all with 4 difficulties, and there are also built in custom charts so there's tons of replayability. There's also a battle pass style leveling system where you can unlock a nice variety of cosmetics, and you don't have to pay for it which is just fantastic. My only issue with the game comes with the "sakura mode", i find the method of activating it kind of annoying, and in rare occasions I did experience stutters when I activated it (this only happened twice in my two hours of playtime). Overall, the game is great and a ton of fun, and in my opinion its very reasonably priced.

Vertrautes Spielprinzip schön umgesetzt, einiges an Inhalten (inklusive Editor!) und reichlich Belohnungen ohne Mikrotransaktionen. Haut einen nicht als Innovation vom Hocker, aber da das Genre für VR-Umsetzungen wie gemacht ist und es an der Umsetzung wenig auszusetzen gibt, gehört es meines Erachtens ins Startrepertoire einer VR-Spielebibliothek.
