About
From the depths of a long-lost arcade cabinet comes TAHITIAN DRIFTIN', an anti-gravity racing game that will have you cruising through the lush, remote tropical islands of Polynesia.
Gather boost by drafting behind the long neon trails left behind by your opponents and propel yourself forwards to victory in single player or two-player split-screen either locally or through Remote Play Together!
Breathe in the calm sprays of Motu One, bask in the sun-speckled sands of Tūpai and brave the searing hot magma chambers of Meheti'a!
TAHITIAN DRIFTIN's specialty Time Attack mode also turns up the danger: outrun your previous best time or it will catch up with you and end your run early!
New islands and new vehicles will be added in upcoming updates to make the TAHITIAN DRIFTIN' experience as feature-rich as the classic arcade games from back in its time!

I have to be honest, its not for everybody. a big "learning curve" because at least for me, regular turning feels stiff but drifing is hair trigger to turn backwards. but you feel really cool when you get better at being more gentle with a joystick, because if you only use it to point hard cardinal directions. you wont have fun. But i like it! props to the dedication to the style and theme!
Best experienced on the Steam Deck (controls mapped auto perfect and feels like an arcade machine) in my opinion, graphics look soo crispy. While markedly calmer than some of it's inspirational counterparts, made me lean off of my chair just as much lol.
Good indie project, with amazing visuals, but gameplay can use work as the game feel isnt quite there yet, however the aesthetic and visuals are amazing and should be commended.
Art is super crisp. Love the menu transitions, the car models, and the laid back beach course vibes. Honestly more meditative than frantic, which surprised me for a zero gravity racer. Fish car is where it's at.
Great aesthetics and surprisingly difficult but enjoyable driving, but it kind of no content, to the point I'm not even sure it's worth 5$. It definitely needs achievements and a custom track creator so I can have something more to do.
