Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

System Shock...

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a well put together game. However it is clearly on the bones of an old game for better and worse. Its easy to get lost on what to do even when listening to audio logs and especially after taking a couple day break from the game. It doesn't hold your hand, but if you get lost, be ready to pop open a walkthrough. The updated graphics are hit and miss. Did I miss the button in the control room that was story sensitive and run around confused for hours? Yes. Was it kind of my fault? Also yes, but the game and I are going 50/50 on it. Currently my biggest frustrations right now are enemy placement/design as well as inventory issues. First, the inventory feels stifling. I understand that causes you to work with what you have as well as storing items for later. Every instinct I have from playing games tells me I cannot trust items stored in boxes or especially on the floor. The game never changes box items, floor items don't move unless physics takes hold, and there are dedicated points just in case something glitches out and falls out of bounds. With that said, I still feel like the elevator is too small. I am just used to modern conveniences, so take it with a grain of salt. The enemy behavior is my current frustration. Enemies do respawn in many areas until you take certain actions. Sometimes you clear an area and it stays clear. Other times, you clear an area only to walk back through 3 seconds later to see a hatch open and a new enemy pop out. Alright, it's a design decision. However, ammo and healing items are limited... kind of. Enemies can drop new items, but it is rare and there is no way you have a net gain. Hold on to that starter energy pistol, it will get a lot of use to preserve ammo. When enemies whittle you down or some capital "B" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens, you will die and you will respawn at a medbay with only a loss of pride and time. Forgiving, but annoying. My first 5 or so hours only saw me die once. I am not the best at games, but I am no stranger to difficulty. Hours 6-15 (on this current save, im taking it a bit slow) has seen the death count rise rapidly. The exploding roombas being a particular pain. They introduce them well. One is at the end of the corridor and emits a large glow and beeps as it approaches, telegraphing it well. However, in hangers, when one zips around a corner as the comms are on and I am fighting flying enemies so my view is up high... It feels a little cheap. Another instance is 3 assassins filtering into a small closet and one bends down upon taking lethal damage and drops a literal handful of mines, blowing everyone up... also feels cheap. The scripted stuff, I am more forgiving of, but it just feels like a needless pain. Is that fitting from a narrative sense? Yes. That doesn't make it not annoying. Overall, the game is fun, but it has been testing my patience at times leaving me saying "♥♥♥♥ you" to my screen. Its a faithful remake to a classic, but sometimes age catches up. Its plays smooth, runs well, and is worth messing with.
System Shock 1.5
A timeless classic, anyone who missed out experiencing this masterpiece should definitely give it a chance; it holds up.
It's difficult, but the amazing visual and sound design make it worth the effort. This is the kind of game you keep thinking about after you stop playing. Wondering how you're going to work through the next set of challenges. For the cons, there can be quite a bit of backtracking caused by the small inventory space. There are ways around it, but that requires you to know what items you need and where beforehand.
If you want to play this game either see an entire playthrough of it or get yourself a full guide. The people behind this game forgot that spend half the time trying to manage the 90s convoluted game progression isnt fun at all.
Do yourself a favor: -Pick some paper and write down the objectives, doorcodes and such. -Set audiologs to be played on pickup -write down what locked doors you find(and where), what blocks your path and what do you need -write down what keys you have picked up
Very pretty remake, faithful to how older, legacy games behaved in a lot of ways. Pros: - Good controls - Tight aiming - Inventory management - Aggressive combat that encourages selective engagement Cons: - Thou art bound by thine creed of quicksave and quickload - The maps can get really confusing - The game does NOT give a ♥♥♥♥ about your comfort level, or have the decency to leave a corridor clear once you've killed everything. Overall, if you're looking for a challenge and you're confident in your ability to praise the F5 button like it's your lord and savior (it is), you'll find something in this game. I HATED it, did not enjoy myself, but I can see the bones of what someone else might enjoy.
