very cool game
pretty sick
swag
Surprisingly amazing game for only like 600 megabytes. It's really impressive and unique with it's own set of quirks- for example, in order to reload you have to eject your magazine first- and then reload. And your gun can build up heat like in select few games. But when it overheats- it fries your shields and damages you. You don't even have to really pay close attention to these elements either but they still matter.
Very sleek and polished. A *lot* is going on under the hood, though, so it'll take a while before you figure out what certain stat-ups do, how certain items work, or what Terror Level is. However, this also means that there's a lot of depth to be found. Attachment combinations, guns, the mixing and matching of perks, etcetera. Though I will say there are a few that are just.. better than the rest.. The big thing though, is the combat. It's *so* good.. lightning quick, punchy and oh my god the headshot sound. Something about the big-ass red numbers popping up and a satisfying *KLANG* ringing out some poor Legion Elite does something to my brain. Banging out a perfect reload (also another incredibly satisfying mechanic) while a swarm of bots run at you before gunning them all down feels awesome! All of this is helped by the fact the sound design is top notch. Guns (well, most of them) sound punchy and heavy, enemies call out in crackly, robotic voices (INTRUD- OW), and the general combat is scored by fitting, if slightly repetitive, cyberpunky tracks. Absolute recommend.. if you get past the fact it is mostly about aiming and figuring out obtuse mechanics.
i shoot shoot shoot and move move move its fun
Nice ARPG sci fi with a deep customization and evolution sistem. The roguelike element is just the cherry on the top.
Stick headphones on and crank the volume! How can you not have fun!?
