Swords & Bones 2

Pretty much every reviewer mention everything I wanted to say about this game. I'm just here to keep the positive review score at a 100%. [i]Tips for the final, final bossfight: Shield yourself in the cornor and purchase as much extra MP and HP as you can beforehand.[/i]

Could'nt the range of the sword be even lower?

Like before, only so much to complain about when a game doesn't take itself too seriously. Then again, they could've at least have tried to address more major issues. Yes, there's not as much grinding this time, although our start seems a bit slow or rocky: they want us to keep moving, standing hops will get you drowned. On the other hand, any grinding is rather forced, as you'll be retreading to finish your trophy collection (true ending). Enemy design is better and magic slightly more effective if you can manage to figure out who deserves what, but overall, this game is much a replica of the first with different go-faster stripes painted on. As always, there's one seemingly useless spell and eventually one or two stages which likely bar the casual crowd from finishing, much less the new shield mechanic (not exactly useful until very near the end). Boss dialogue, though mildly amusing, still frustrates; sound problems willfully apply despite being catchy; set controls are a pain w/o the proper tools to fix (i.e. Steam modifications); and Engrish often rears its ugry head. The reason I recommend is simple: we have the fix, and it's still easy to have a great, fun experience. That's more than can be said for a lot of games here. PS For further ref, see S&B1 review.

Buen juego estilo retro

They probably took the codebase from sword and bones 1, added few new sprites, couple of new mechanics and new monsters. Anyhow, definitely recommended game!

Игра, примерно, соответствует своему наполнению. Хорошая — весьма неплохой представитель своего жанра. Многие могут найти тут «свой шедевр». Зачастую, игра приятно соответствует своему описанию и скриншотам. Отличная — эти игры, зачастую, превосходят свои первые впечатления, основанные на описании и скриншотах (в расчёт не берём репутацию, ибо «тот кто знает, тот поймёт»). Крутые представители своего жанра.

Like the first instalment this game here reminds me of Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts for the SNES as well but is a lot easier. The game is really nice and enjoyable and the pricing is really humble as well. The new feature with the shield system is kind of interesting, but absolutely not necessary. I did not even use it at all. Recommend.
