Swords and Sandals Pirates

A bit buggy. I mean its $7, i think nostalgia does some heavy lifting for this franchise. i really like the concept of moving around your pirate ship. despite travel from island to island taking a few hours, your crews morale will plummet horribly in no time at all. i think maybe a clever thing would be to focus on resources before keeping a manned crew. searching for wood or even resources that can only give you gold will still make your crew terribly miserable. and 90% of the time i never got wood, despite choosing hechaos, so i guess his luck bonus didnt apply to that- it also didnt apply to fights. i think its good for random encounters via adventures and thats it. on top of that, i got the duelling skill which doesnt actually apply to fights, unless its gladiator fights i think. this was frustrating because i expended a decently sized fighting force of range, heavy, and light forces to soley target a captain, bringing her down to 2 hearts versus my full health. despite this, it was a stale mate. she took every heart and i took her 2 and we died at th same time- but i was the only one who lost- despite having surviving troops and her having absolutely zero army left. so somehow i got the crap end of the stick. and this happened every single time i stalemated a captain- i fought many natives lol. btw, you get a penalty for fighting natives. if you buy multiple catapults you cannot use more than one in a siege. im not even sure if you can deploy the second one right after the first breaks via siege, but thats my best guess. as always with all of the classic games, windowed mode is kind of buggy and does not let you display the entirety of the game no matter how you stretch the window. its a fun concept inspired by a few other games, which is why i like it- plus the nostalgia thats carrying it. but, its frustratingly buggy.

Just nah. Dice rolls feel rigged and theres a lot of vague aspects to the game. You also game over instantly when the dice hits the lower 50% and thats super annoying.

Its okay.

If you like the old swords and sandals game this is not it. Its something else yet still really awesome to play. Its a different game for the genre but still addictive and really fun! I recommend it!

Not worth my time.

Need some updates, The game is quite buggy.

Imagine controling like 99% of map and losing overall to faction that didnt do anything for entire game
