I could already tell within the first 20 minutes of how this whole game was going to be. Repetitive. It's a shame the 4 monsters seemed to just be a copy and paste of each other in different colours and looking at the steam preview images, looks like it will be the exact same monsters later in the game. The gameplay is decent but it doesn't look like it will get more complex than waving my arms around wildly and for an anime jrpg, it just seems like a waste of time to me. The graphics are kind of a let down, looks very bland and boring for an anime VR game, even VR chat has better textured models. Seems like they used all their time on the red hair girl and even then it's not worth it.
if "until you fall" team helped with the physics this could be a big hit for sure, it lacks in the fighting part were you cant parry or block, or at least to where i stopped. it does need a lot of improvement and only time will tell how successful this would be, things to look out for is to have guild system and people can team-up to clear quests and stuff, and a chatting option like VRchat to help the game be more interactive, in game quick menu where we can use it to add and set up the gears and stuff. there is much more to say but the game is an early stage so room for improvement is there for sure. i wont judge this game as a fully developed yet, also if its possible to have japanese voice actor and subtitle that would make it even better for me XD "for me" since some poeple will be like whats the point?
Nota final 3/10
I honestly had fun playing, but it's not without faults. If your expecting amazing swordplay or top notch visuals then you will be in for a surprise. Fighting mainly consist of 2 OP skills and wiggle sword fighting that'll quickly make your arms sore. Graphics aren't horrible but do to it being a JRPG I was hoping for more. (especially disappointed in the sky, I know...I'm weird like that!). The NPC that follows you around does just that......nothing else, although they will occasionally pull mobs over to YOU when firing at them as it seems like they are invisible to the enemy. All that said I still had a blast. It has your basic monster drops for coins and materials and chest that you need to hunt down that contain blueprints and rarer materials to craft new weapons. I sought out every chest and monster as I was playing through so the only real grinding I needed at the end was for the coin achievement. It seems like this is the best this game will get as I haven't seen any updates for over a year now and that's a real shame. If your into JRPG style games it's worth looking into, you'll get a good 4-6 hours of playtime depending on whether your hunting for completion.
I haven't played that long yet, but so far it's actually quite fun. There are just a few problems, such as the menu for changing the powers for the sword is sometimes completely buggy and enemies can sometimes attack me strangely even though they are lying on the ground, which means I can't dodge there attack. It would probably also be cool if you could buy items in the Guild such as Health Potions or Mana Potions. But overall the game is pretty cool.
This VR game has lots of potential but isn't quite there yet. I enjoyed the almost 4 hours that I played. The combat while a bit janky does work. I found that stabbing instead of swinging seemed to work better for some enemies that blocked attacks. The music is very nice and blends well with the environment. The spells are the best part of the game as they are easy to choose which element and they all have satisfying effects. I found the use of the green vine trapping spell was very useful to slow down mobs and allow for easy hits. The gold element is almost over powered as you can use it to launch enemies off cliffs in a "one shot" and not even bother fighting them. Choosing between the two equipped spells can be a bit of a hit or miss. Mana does generate slowly over time or when you get melee hits. The game is rather on the short side with only 12 chapters. The game store page states it is still in early development but not much has been done recently so it seems like it might never get updated further. I would like to see more chapters and further the story but for now I am satisfied with the short experience that I had. One real strange thing is that your NPC companion doesn't actually do any damage as she constantly shoots off ineffective arrows. The other bad thing is your character move slowly so enemies can easily overwhelm you. There is a level progression and some light crafting. But once you can actually get some decent weapons, the game is over. The final boss is fairly easy but he locks on you so there is no dodging but you can parry his attacks. With only 2% or so actually finishing the last boss (achievement), it seem most players give up well before this point. Get it on a good sale and enjoy! There are far worse VR games out there than this one.
Look I tried to like this but I thought it was a open world game. It's not, and it has levels. Also it's so bad that I felt like it was a scam. Although the developers are probably trying their best. I absolutely hate games where they have stage levels. Sorry, no dissrespect to the developers, because I would love a isekai rpg in vr, and they are inovating, so they are doing a really good thing. But I expected better and different.
