Only have played the game for a short time and love it already. Just a calming chill game. After I did buy it, I did have to search for it again on Steam to download it, might have been on my part, but not sure.
I loved it. Totally recommendation. Basketball is a wondeful concept for an idler game. This is a great match between two genres. There is no feeling of grinding, but on the other hand there are way too many things to unlock and all at the same time. Maybe ball upgrades can be more expensive for reducing "the feeling lost because of too many things". At some point, I was lost but then I FIGURED IT OUT. Combo shots and ball values are the key for winning. If you want to beat the tournaments: 1- Upgrade your balls own value, combo value, and combo step. 2- Upgrade players with skill stars, go for BasketBall IQ (this allows player to have combos) 3- Your players are also leveling up as they play, and each level up itself is a multiplier. (Discovering this was an absolute Aha! moment.) So, time on the court itself is a multiplier When you have 5 players who are well upgraded and when you increase the value of each basket for all balls, combo value, and combo steps. You can win the tournaments. Here is my understanding of breakdown (when basketball IQ is activated) Ball Value X Combo Multiplier X Combo Step X Dunk Multiplier X Player Level 10*7(diamond) X 5 X 20 X 20 X 10 = $1.400.000 from the last shot of combo Now get me this frigging annoying "Lone Wolf" in the game. I will slap him down all day :D There can also be crits, lightnings, blackholes, or clicking upgrade in addition to this 1.4M from each basket.
The game asks for a review on every screen it can, so I'll review it... I haven't really got a clue whats happening as there is so many things to buy, I can't fopcus on a higher ball to combo because I can't get rid of lower ones, so the best strat is to unlock the second ball and max that, then thats it? I dunno just seems odd. The skill tree is 100 things that all give 0.01% increase to something, prob is theres so much that all seems so irrelevant I don't have a clue what I'm buying, just buy the cheapest thing. The tournaments are ridiculous, you'll be winning the whole time and in the last second AI dunks and the score goes fully to them, you lose. It makes no sense and is really frustrating. I cannot believe this wasn't changed after the demo. The buttons/ writing are white on a off white background, I have to min gamma to read it. What a crazy choice that is. I can't see an optioon to change that. I'll be honest I watched someone on YT play the demo and I have been really really looking forward to this, but am very let down. I just have no real idea whats going on, which makes everything else very frustrating. I really hope the dev changes some of these things cause the game is a cool concept and could be good fun.
