I'm a sucker for VS-type games. This game caught my attention with its retro graphics and I have to say I enjoyed my time so far. The game play feels a little more boxy than I like (I am very aware of the grid as I play) but the visuals are charming and the gameplay loop is competent. Looking forward to seeing what the patches bring.

One of the most fun games I've played this year! Good challenge, cool weapons and really addictive. Highly recommended for fans of Vampire Survivors and Geometry Wars. Can't wait to play some more.

A Roguelike arcade shooter that embraces beauty in simplicity. It has a permanent unlock system element that doesn't feel too grindy to level up, and quickly start playing at harder difficulties. It's fun, and challenging, but mostly fair. Plays perfect on Steam Deck.

Once you have levelled up a few upgrades, it gives the same dopamine rush as VS. Very addictive too. Quite a lot of weapons, items and upgrades already. Looking forward to future updates.

Einzig der Grafikstil und die Musik machen die Dinge anders, höchstens vielleicht noch die einzelnen Fähigkeiten und Klassen die Referenzen zu anderen Spielen sind. Für mich ist ein solcher "Klon" immer mit der Frage verbunden, was es denn anders als das Original macht. Zugegeben, die Musik ist ganz gut und auch optisch ist das Spiel ganz nett, aber alles in allem bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Somit keine klare Kaufempfehlung, aber wer das Genre mag und Zeit verbrennen möchte, wird sich mit diesem Spiel zumindest nicht ärgern einen Fehlkauf getätigt zu haben. Fun light take on the emerging bullet heaven genre(or reverse bullet hell?), I really like to retro feel, the game dev hit the mark on that. This game would be perfect in an actual arcade box at the boardwalk. Ive played it on my steam deck as well, and it runs just fine. The resolution was weird but I think that has recently been addressed in an update. Its good to see the Developer updating pretty frequently. For the price I feel like as long as the few "???" characters and "Coming soon" Maps are delivered then it will be completely worth it. And for many it might even be worth it as is. Looking forwards to the continued development of this game.

One of the more interesting of the Bullet Heaven games. It's very much a retro-arcade inspired games in terms of many of the power ups and levels. The art style is fun and flashy and almost looks like an old vector graphics game. The unlock system seems fair and balanced, and there are plenty of things to unlock. The characters and weapons are interesting to play. The hit detection can be kind of odd at times, but it's still well worth playing and isn't frustrating. It's a fantastic game to zone out and just play.

It's a VS-like. Give this a shot if you like this genre. It's entertaining enough for the price. Enemies become damage sponges a little past midway point but it's all doable.
