I got this game in a bundle. I had low expectations- it didn't look like my kinda fun, but I was pleasantly surprised. Graphics are ok- one doesn't expect too much from a VR game. I'd say they're A little better than N64-PS2 level. The gameplay is fun, and somehow, I have very little motion sickness while playing- which was my main concern about this title. I have never stopped playing because I felt ill, which I cannot say about many flying games. The shooting/flying is great. I kind of expected bigger play areas, but the tight arena gameplay is loads of fun, and I can't help but wonder if the small area helps prevent motion sickness.
Soundtrack is fire. Visuals are dope. Enemies are cool. And the main guy is just epic. Only VR game i’ve played where I got literally zero motion sickness. Hoping there’s a sequel!!!
Was in Humble Bundle. Took me really a while to beat this extrem mode. And as i saw, im the only one who beat him :)) Nice challange, thx for game.
Saw this game on Road to vr’s top picks last month and then realized it had been in the top 10 best rated vr games for the last two years?? Don’t know how I hadn’t heard of this game until now but damn it lives up to the hype. Really sick movement mechanics that feel flowy and easy to use, but definitely tough to master. Took me a bit to figure out but once I did I felt totally unstoppable. You’re like Spider-Man and Duke Nukem rolled into one. Definitely worth a buy.
this game is such a blast. having played a ton of titanfall 2 back in the day, it genuinely feels like being a grapple pilot in vr. grappling is so fun, letting you build up speed and fly higher. but there's definitely a learning curve, especially if vr tends to give you motion sickness. each level is unique and has its own set of challenges, like dodging a massive bell or cars zooming past. you gotta use different tactics for different foes, and playing around with the weapons is super fun. and as you get further in, you get this zip attack that lets you pull towards enemies or platforms - such a cool touch. love that you can tweak things in the game with options like infinite slow-mo or rapid fire, and the difficulty choices are a nice touch. the respawn option is a lifesaver for those tough levels, and it's cool that you can pick your difficulty. got a few things that bug me though. first, the ink launcher dudes fire way too much, especially in boss rounds. they're a bit much compared to the other enemies. i get the whole slow-mo missile thing, but maybe they could shoot a tad less? and those angle-specific weak spots are a pain. and for someone like me with adhd, act 3 is a challenge. too many tracks with lyrics, plus all the other voices? it's kinda distracting. would be dope to have a volume slider or a music pick, since most of the soundtrack is solid. last thing - why pause the whole game to drop in new info? a short timer after these pop-ups or maybe giving us the heads up before the level would be smoother. but yeah, overall, the game rocks. can't wait to see where it goes next.
As stated by others the controlls are a nightmare with the index controllers. Otherwise I am sure it would be a fun game.
A lot of VR games feel just like their console counterparts, but this one? Totally next level and shows what VR's all about. In this game, you're zipping and zooming, taking shots and dodging lasers – stuff you just can't get into on a regular screen. Pair that with a spinny chair and it's next level. The game keeps things fresh with maps, enemies, and the way it introduces new weapons and skills is spot on, not too obvious but still easy to grasp. I love the flexibility of changing up the difficulty. Whether you're in the mood to chill or face a real challenge, you got options. Visually, it's a stunner, really sick cell-shaded Borderlands-y style. Same with the enemy design, they're super unique but they fit right into the game's world and style. Definitely worth a purchase
Esquece! O jogo ignora essas configurações. A vontade que tenho, depois de tanto esperar o jogo sair no PC (já tenho no Quest2 e lá os comandos são aceitáveis devido ao controle), é pedir o dinheiro de volta. The game is good but... It $ucks not being able to change the controls in the game. In the Valve Index (which I use) the "grab" function (closing the hand) is the command to launch the rope/hook. This sucks because I want to hold the controller for better aim. I want to change the command to the 'A' button and I just can't. Change Steam VR "controls map" settings? He forgets! The game ignores these settings. The desire I have, after waiting so long for the game to come out on the PC (I already have it on Quest2 and the commands are acceptable there due to the control), is to ask for my money back.
Nice game! Unique and fun to play once you become comfortable with the game mechanics. Purchased as part of a Fanatical VR bundle and it turned out to be one of the best in the group. Works great with the HP REVERB G2 V1 WMR controllers. It's arcade like mindless fun swinging about surviving enemy waves.
