Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Survival: Fountain of Youth — A Sleeper Hit Worth Discovering TL;DR: If you enjoy classic survival mechanics with a unique 16th-century explorer theme and don’t mind a few indie rough edges, this game is absolutely worth your time. Full Review: Survival: Fountain of Youth is a sleeper-hit survival game that I somehow missed until recently. I’m a big fan of Green Hell and Stranded Deep, and I’ve been looking for something that scratches the same itch for exploration, base-building, and resource management. SFoY hooked me immediately with its 16th-century explorer setting, which really sets it apart from the usual modern survival fare. And no cannibals or zombies. This isn’t a reinvention of the genre, but that’s part of the charm. You’ll feel right at home with the familiar loop of picking up sticks and stones, crafting your tools, and building your base. On Normal difficulty, the balance feels about right: you’re managing water, hunger, and the risk of pushing deeper into unknown territory for critical resources and progression items. Approaching all of this as a 16th-century castaway gives the game an immersive edge. I keep a handwritten explorer’s log of my discoveries and journey. It’s not perfect: - The UI and small gameplay elements aren’t as polished as something like Green Hell. - Cutscenes lean more “indie” than cinematic. - A bit of roughness around the edges in general. But once I settled into the gameplay loop, those issues faded into the background and the core experience really shined. Honestly, this game deserves more visibility, if the devs teamed up with a few mid-sized streamers, I think it could find a much bigger audience. Pros: - Unique and atmospheric 16th-century survival theme - Solid core mechanics (gathering, crafting, base building) - Well-balanced survival challenge on Normal - Great sense of exploration and discovery - Lots of islands, biomes, and progression paths Cons: – UI and polish aren’t on par with AAA competitors – Story cutscenes are serviceable but not amazing – Some indie roughness here and there Verdict: If you love survival games and appreciate a historical twist, Survival: Fountain of Youth is worth diving into. A hidden gem.

Has the makings of a good game, but just isn't very fun. I spent most of my time just killing dogs while looking for simple items like sticks and stones that should be everywhere.
The moment I got bit by the snake, I knew this game was for me. I am a survival enthusiast and I have been keeping an eye out for a game that has realistic survival scenarios but that isn't overly complicated. So let me tell you about the snake. There are other things that make this game awesome, but this one is the best example: I was at half-health, and desperately trying to find sticks so I could make a fire so I could make some food. I see something in the grass and think "oh, that could be some sticks, or something else useful". I get close to it really fast and right as I make out it is a snake, it bites me. I jump my character back and look at the screen to see if I now had venom in me. But I don't. Desperate, I think, I will just kill this thing so I can get some extra food and so it doesn't bother me. I throw my ax, and miss. It is my only ax. I creep in to get it but get bitten again before I can get my ax. Since it wasn't venomous (or so I thought) I figured I would go in and kill it, melee-style. I killed it, but it bit me again before it died...and then I had venom in my system (which is consistent with real life snakes, who don't always inject venom when they bite). Now I am regretting my decisions and trying to get the things I need for an anti-venom. Had I been slower and more methodical in my actions, it would have saved me from this situation. And as annoying as it can be some times, the time element in this game feels spot on with real-life survival. The choices you make when surviving cost time, and time is a luxury you don't have in the wilderness. Do you try to start a fire, possibly loosing hours of daylight, or find another way to eat? That is the risk. There are no hordes of monsters (so far as I can tell). It is just nature that is your enemy, or your savior. Will your wits save you?
No chopping trees, no breaking scrap — everything is done through menus. To gather, you press a key, select an amount, then press space. Once memorized, you can harvest a tree in a second, making it instant resource gathering. But the tree or bush still looks untouched, and you wait 30 days for refresh. In 7 Days to Die it takes ~10 seconds to chop a tree; here it’s instant, but buried in menus. I was hoping for realistic survival like Valheim, Green Hell, or The Forest, but instead it’s menus upon menus. Even repairing a raft is just another menu if you have a repair kit. This feels like 80s/90s design, when CPUs/GPUs couldn’t handle real animations — not what I expect from a modern survival game. I feel ripped off.
Survival: Fountain of Youth is an intriguing addition to the survival game genre, offering players a fresh take on the classic struggle to endure in a harsh, unforgiving environment. Unlike many survival titles that emphasize open-world exploration and crafting, this game focuses on a unique blend of narrative-driven objectives and resource management set against the backdrop of a mysterious island with ancient secrets. It challenges players to not only maintain their physical well-being but also unravel the mysteries surrounding the mythical Fountain of Youth, adding layers of depth and motivation beyond mere survival. At its core, Survival: Fountain of Youth revolves around balancing essential survival mechanics such as hunger, thirst, health, and stamina while navigating the island’s dangerous terrain. The game’s resource system requires careful planning and strategic decision-making, as supplies are limited and the environment is unforgiving. Players must forage for food, hunt wildlife, and secure fresh water, all while defending themselves from environmental hazards and potential threats. The dynamic weather system and day-night cycles significantly impact gameplay, affecting visibility, temperature, and resource availability, which keeps the experience engaging and unpredictable. What sets this game apart is its narrative integration. The quest for the legendary Fountain of Youth serves as a driving force, motivating exploration and providing a sense of purpose beyond the typical survival goals. Along the way, players uncover clues, solve puzzles, and encounter remnants of previous inhabitants, which enrich the lore and add a layer of mystery to the island. This storytelling element helps create an emotional connection to the world and heightens the stakes of survival, making each decision feel meaningful. The game’s visuals and sound design contribute effectively to the immersive experience. The island is rendered with a naturalistic style that captures both its beauty and its dangers, from lush forests to rocky cliffs and murky swamps. Ambient sounds, including wildlife calls, rustling leaves, and weather effects, enhance the atmosphere and keep players on edge. While the graphics may not push the limits of modern hardware, their style suits the game’s tone and supports the feeling of isolation and discovery. Survival: Fountain of Youth also incorporates a progression system that allows players to develop skills and craft tools, improving their chances of survival as they advance. This gradual empowerment adds a satisfying sense of growth and accomplishment. However, the game can be quite challenging, especially early on, which may be frustrating for some players but rewarding for those who appreciate a tough, methodical survival experience. On the downside, some players might find the pacing slow, particularly during the initial exploration phases, and occasional bugs or UI quirks can disrupt immersion. Additionally, the balance between survival mechanics and narrative elements might feel uneven to some, with moments where the story overshadows gameplay or vice versa. Nevertheless, these issues do not significantly detract from the overall experience. In summary, Survival: Fountain of Youth offers a compelling mix of survival gameplay and narrative intrigue, setting it apart from more generic entries in the genre. Its emphasis on story-driven exploration, combined with thoughtful resource management and environmental challenges, creates a rich and engaging experience. For players seeking a survival game that goes beyond the basics and delivers a meaningful journey into mystery and endurance, Survival: Fountain of Youth is a worthwhile adventure that rewards patience and careful strategy. Rating: 8/10
