Won this game(season pass) in a giveaway. The review is based on Issue 1 of the game. Overall its a good game, not a great one though. Pros: 1. Really comedic, almost every dialogue from mel is funny. 2. Short game, not that time consuming. Cons: 1. Really short game, completed 100% of the game in 2.5 hours. 2. Story is so-so. 3. Doesn't have replay value. 4. Really less characters( just about 11 characters). 5. Small number of backgrounds and places(only about 5 places on map and around 10 backgrounds).
Fun point and click with a pretty good sense of humor. The dialogue can occasionally be a bit long winded.
I was really surprised by the negative reviews for this game. Yes doesn't have a terribly deep story, it's not meant to though. It is a bit short, but also really hilarious. In my opinion it's worth every penny. Pros: - Good voice acting - Not overly difficult - Hilarious! You can examine lots of things resulting in often funny conversations, and can often try to use or take things that don't make sense, again resulting in funny dialogue/comments - Lip/mouth movement when talking is actually pretty decent. Maybe my standards are just low but I frequently find (for lower budget/indie games) that lip/mouth movement for talking is appallingly inaccurate. This isn't half bad. Cons: - Could be longer - Why isn't it fullscreen by default? Verdict: 8.5/10

Puntaje: 6/10
(Played on linux/Nouveau.) This P&C commits two capital transgressions: - It's verbose like you wouldn't believe. I've seen some logorrhea in games, but this one takes the biscuit. It's fully voiced, and decently so, but that doesn't alleviate the abrasion. - Bad puzzles. Half of them simply consist of exploring all dialogue options. The rest is full of combinations that seem random even after you see their result. On top of that, you've got unresponsive spots that only and silently become responsive after arbitrary events occur. Awful. So annoying that I could only bear the game in short sessions. A pity considering the good art, the great music and a decent interface, including a hot spots key. The humour is weak but I did smile twice so that is not completely lost. I would almost recommend, but the ratio wait/play is just too high.
Basically budget Sam & Max with extra political/social humor. It's...passable. Some lines made me chuckle, others just made me roll my eyes. Standard point n' click gameplay. Episodes 2 and 3 are pretty much just more of the same.
