Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

2 minute TLDR: Supreme Commander 2 (Supcom 2) isn't as complex or as addictive as it's previous highs of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance (FA). Gas Powered Games were given an almost impossible task of building upon near perfection and while Supcom 2 isn't *better* than FA, it's most definitely different. The main differentiator between the two is how streamlined the games are. Gone are things like manually having to upgrade your mass extractors, tier 2/3 energy/defense/shields and even units get relegated to "normal" and "experimental" sizes generally, which in my opinion really misses the whole point of what made FA amazing and insanely addictive. Other things missing that could really have helped Supcom 2 would be hotkeys - I can't seem to find any of them, not for structures nor units. This is a critical misstep, requiring you to manually click on what you want to build rather than using keyboard/mouse combinations to speed up the process. You also cannot select a unit production facility and right-click on another one to "assist" with it's build queue, something that was pure genius from FA that got lost when making Supcom 2. Then there's research - if you've played Sins of a Solar Empire, you'll immediately know this research system. It's exactly the same; you get research points by building research structures. Get enough points and you can get an upgrade for a tech tree. Simple as that. It feels too reductive to begin with, but once you are really in the zone it's honestly not a terrible system. I still prefer the old FA system of upgrades especially for ACUs, but we don't have to worry about things like SACUs and customizing them so I guess it balances out? On the flip side, you can play this on consoles and there were some genuine improvements such as mass extractors gaining veterancy for not being destroyed, leading to an "automatic" upgrade system as well as being able to assign flying transports to a unit production facility to have them automagically ferry the units to the rally point. This is actually an awesome change that cuts back on the micro busywork that is straight up required in FA. The playing field is much more level in Supcom 2 as well - tier 2 and 3 units/turrets don't exist, so you're all playing with similar toys to an extent. One thing they got right is the Cybran units, the navy units all can sprout legs and walk on land. This is an insane boost to what made the original Cybran units interesting and unique. So I guess if you really love Cybran units you should try this. Ultimately not for everyone, but it has far fewer graphical/stability issues compared to FA and still works online without a community launcher or fan patches. If only there was a Supcom 3 that blended the improvements of this with the old-skool perfection of FA. One can dream...

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Not for me. Playing this game is annoying, frustrating, infuriating, and occasionally for 5 minutes when you're violating someone else, funny. What confuses me is that people like this game unironically. See I'm not 110 IQ, so I can't imagine other people actually liking this game. They should play CK3 or Midnight Club 2, or Hitman, or shooting games, or watch porn honestly. It's better to waste your life on smoking weed and gooning to bi-curious furry porn than playing this game, because at least then you get something out of it.
Supreme Commander 2 is a truly epic real-time strategy game. Its scale is breathtaking. You command massive fleets and sprawling armies and it is incredibly satisfying. The strategic depth is rewarding for players who enjoy careful planning and tactical maneuvering. Despite its age, the game still holds up remarkably well with fantastic graphics, a deep tech tree, and addictive gameplay. If you're looking for a grand strategy experience that lets you truly dominate the battlefield, Supreme Commander 2 is a must-play!
