nice game
My thoughts on Super Wooden: Rally Edge are rather mixed but ultimately positive, given I finished the campaign. If you're a fan of older style isometric perspective racers, this is a good option. The aesthetic is cohesive, and the racing physics are (mostly) solid. My chief gripes are as follows: Seeming inconsistency of turn sharpness callouts varying from course to course or even level to level The weird physics that take place when hitting barriers, almost pinball like at times or at slower speeds. Limited numbers of retries for a stage. F*ck. That. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's arbitrary, and only frustrates if you're struggling on a level. It's not without irritations, but it's solid enough to keep you distracted for about 7 hours. I also ran it on a GTX 950 for a bit, so weaker machines are viable with this one.
Did you like Art of rally? GET SOME MORE. More tracks, more cars. This one, though, is focused on racing faster, not just chilling as in art of rally. You'll need to win to get more challenges. It also has "head to head" and "gauntlet" races to test your driving abilities. Maybe the driving model isn't as extremely polished as Art of rally, but believe me, it is more than enough. The terrains feel totally different, the rwd, awd, fwd is completely perceived and the physics work as intended when doing a sharp corner or performing a jump. Another feature is that you need to improve the car, but not always. I've got to 1st place in all of the first rallies with a completely raw Seat 124 I got in the first head to head. It feels great to push the car to its limit.
Fabuloso
Super gutes Spiel!
Very noice
The game is low stress and has a cartoonish presentation that is an interesting take on rally. It runs well and is a great game. Highly recommended.
huge fan of the whole series.
