[i]Super Shoot Owl[/i] is an intentionally bad game that focuses on various memes and is set to a danmaku setting...and one that is not easy for all the wrong reasons. You're supplied 7 levels, a few with gimmicks like temperature (a time limit that cannot recover) and a water limit (which can be recovered).
The game's premise is simple. Play as an owl to rescue your child from your crazy new girlfriend. You move around the screen while holding X (to poop / fire from your behind to kill enemies behind you) and kill llamas that home in on your location while they shoot you. You'll also get kamikaze llamas that explodes (they're a pain), fat llamas (that are also a pain since they're fast and shove you around while damaging you), darth llamas (that reflect your shots...requiring pooping on them to kill them), pirate llamas (that fire hard hitting shots at you), and Pyro Llamas (upgraded fat llamas). You fight your way to the boss and slay the boss...just like any other danmaku, but bosses can have some conditions before you fight them...like having at least 50% health or keeping you on a time limit.
Honestly, this game is pretty easy, but it's the first level that I found the hardest. There's a way to make this game easier, but you need to gain 77 pizzas and press 1 to go into super mode...something this game does not inform you about. I'd recommend the developer adding that explanation into the game. I would also like it if the developer made the enemies easier...or slower. While this game is easy, the enemies can be cutthroat at times. Of course, there are other gripes I have and the only game I can compare this to on an equal level is [i]The Adventures of Kusoge[/i].
If I'm perfectly honest, this game was only "easy" because I always feel like I lucked out of several situations. Like a kamikaze llama exploded on me, but I took no damage only because I was backing away...or fat llamas giving no damage for...almost no reason...either the maul you or push you. Of course, there's the time limit levels, which I felt like I only squeeked by at the last possible second. Without luck in my favor, it seemed to be an unkind game in several areas.
So, do I recommend [i]Super Shoot Owl[/i]? Not really. If you're looking for a short game and know your way around several danmakus, I'd say to go for it. But keep in mind that this is far from the quality of a good game. While this is decent for achievements (if you're willing to lightly grind and deal with aggressive enemies), it's still a bad game. Play at your own risk...and remember that you got what you paid for.
