Super Poop is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This is particularly bad even for a platformer, it's slapped together lazily with Clickteam Fusion, and it only exists as a joke game without any serious merit as a PC game. It was just made as "clickbait" to try get buys from the "lulz" value, in the hopes it'll go viral or something. Gameplay consists of guiding the developers brain through various platformer levels, collecting construction equipment for some reason or other, then platforming to the exit, avoiding spikes etc... it's shallow and has no real value for gamers, but as I mentioned this wasn't sincerely made or intended to be a real game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the music using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Clickteam Fusion game engine/toolset - the "No-Code" construction kit that "Anyone can make games with!!". Including, you know, people who aren't game developers. Which is a problem. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameMaker Studio). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. That's right, only 4. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Super Poop has the utterly unrealistic price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. Note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.

Truly the pinnacle of platformers. The controls are fluid and easy to use. No bugs and no skips found. PEAK PLATFORMER

Desperately wants to be Super Meat Boy but lacks the most important quality of what makes a balls hard platformer fun: The controls are trash. Jump heights vary GREATLY between standing still and moving, and many obstacles that cannot be jumped over from a standstill can be jumped over with as little as 3-4 pixels of horizontal movement. The game often gives you exactly this much wiggle room between a death spike and a vertical wall to build running speed. Additionally, you cannot jump horizontally AT ALL if pressed up against a vertical surface, making getting over some obstacles an effort in futility. Finally, many death spikes are hidden by the crappy black/white color scheme of the levels. It is impossible to tell what is ground and what will kill you at times until you've died. Checkpoints are fairly forgiving, but that's the only thing it got right. EDIT: After reading some other reviews, I felt the need to add a blurb. It looks like the game got updated at some point. It no longer send you back to the start of the game if you die (Thank God, it would be unplayable if so). Instead you go back to the beginning of the level, and all the levels are fairly short. Hence the forgiving checkpoints.
worst game ever, only about poop just entirely childish. i would never spend more than an hour on this game.
