About

Super Nova is a fast-paced sci-fi action game built with Unreal Engine 5, where humanity stands on the edge of extinction
In the far reaches of space, a highly advanced alien world has begun invading and destroying planets one by one, harvesting their resources and enslaving entire civilizations. Earth is their next target.
To stop the invasion, three super-powered heroes rise — each bound by a unique cosmic ability. United by an oath to protect Earth, they prepare for the final stand.
The journey begins aboard a space station orbiting near Earth. From there, the heroes launch into battle, piloting their spacecraft and descending into intense combat zones across the planet’s surface.

Reviews
Editing my review to make it a little more helpful. Overall very exciting feel for the features that are implemented. I've been dying for something with the super hero power fantasy, especially the freedom of movement many heroes are depicted with. This engine seems to nail that feeling. I say engine, because it's not a fully fleshed out game as of this review. But the test environment as it stands is very exciting, and my positive review stands for that reason, NOT because it's a finished project ready for mass consumption. Pros: - Traversal is amazing. The travel powers are very fun to play with - No cooldowns or meters for traversal abilities, which is really great. I hope that stays - Cool Aesthetic and character design - Dev team is actually responding to reviews, as you can see below. I have yet to retry, but according to dev response, my clunky first impression of the attacks may be skill issue (told to use middle mouse to lock on for better attack connection) Cons: (note, at this stage of development, these aren't really poor design elements, but rather things that aren't implemented yet, I just wanted to make a con section for completion - Unfinished (but the price reflects it, so it's cool, I'm happy to support at that price) - Not much story element/content as yet - Small scale, no missions, etc. As of yet, mostly a sandbox to test the engine. Again, not a criticism, and I'm sure there is a bullet on the dev's whiteboard already to "make it more"
Gave this game couple months for update never probably gonna happen.
Super Nova Review Title: Great concept, but currently very basic (though fun) I’m really starting to like Super Nova. The core idea of the game is solid, and on paper, it sounds like a blast. However, in its current state, it is very basic and needs so much work. Character Movement Velocity: (The Flash) Slingshot: (Spider-Man web swing style) Overlord: (You become a dragon or fly like in Anthem / Superman) Void: ( Shadow form kind of ) Combat Animations The effects are too bright. The animations feel off, and the target lock stays locked on even after the AI is dead. Overall, combat does not feel rewarding. Enemy ai has little to no reaction and feels like your hitting empty space until they die. Concept I actually like the concept and the ideas behind the game. You start in a space station, head to Earth in your spaceship, land, and go save the world from a threat. There is potential here if the developers put in the work. Feedback Story: It is okay, but it needs a lot of polish to be perfect. For now, I would remove it and just have players spawn on the map. UI: need so much work but devs have said there working on it The Spaceship Scene: This is pointless. It either needs to be fixed to be meaningful or just removed entirely. What about a cool entry system or just a cutscene entering the planet instead of loading screens? It needs to be polished since this is the first thing players see. Verdict I'm not refunding it because I want to support the idea, But i reccomend changing the stats of the game to Earley access.
Needs more work...
