Annoying enemy spam. Literally unplayable levels and undefeatable enemies. If your looking for a casual playthrough its not here. If your looking for a diffcult but fair game, go play celeste or even super meat boy would be more enjoyable then this rage fest of a broken game.

Flashy, adrenaline endorsing, highly addicting, super easy and very fun.

[h2][b]★★★☆☆ Little Fast-Paced Adventure [/b][/h2] Super Ember Kaboom offers a frenetic blend of Mario and Sonic-inspired gameplay, punctuated by vibrant visuals and catchy tunes. However, its over-reliance on text-heavy lore at the outset disrupts the pacing. While the controls are tight and responsive, the story feels shoehorned in, detracting from the game's swift tempo. Despite solid pixel art and sound design, enemy encounters lack impact, often leading players to bypass them altogether. The fair price and controller support enhance the experience, though level design could benefit from refinement. While enjoyable, Super Ember Kaboom leaves room for improvement in balancing its narrative and gameplay elements for a more cohesive experience.

First, Mr Koenig, thank you for approving my request for the game. Second, Mr Koenig, BEES DO NOT BELONG IN VIDEO GAMES! I hated those bees! Always at the MOST ANNOYING PLACES! But I guess that makes it a good game, and quite satisfying to complete a section. Please ignore all the times I cursed your name in stream if you watch the vod. I loved it, really! Everyone loved it, and I beat it in one sitting (tho I did rage quit twice). Many reviews say they beat it in 90 min, which made me sad when I read that around the 2hr mark. Apparently it took me over 3hrs to finish, but I had a blast. I don’t play a ton of platformers, but this one hit all the marks. It was challenging without being infuriating, had impressive enemies, engaging music, lots of fruit to collect everywhere, and great level design. I also don’t play a lot of retro games, even though I’m retro myself as an ancient gamer. The enemies and levels were clean and polished, fresh and new for people who might not get all the references. Even in the end I was still trying to jump on the mushrooms which was both annoying and hilarious. Kind of disappointed there aren’t achievements, because I think I will go back and try to get 4 diamonds on all levels. (Except the ghost levels. Screw that! … well, maybe, because it’s a good challenge.) I also wish we could change the key binds, cause it’s on pc and some people hate controllers. Right now, it’s priced at $7, and is appropriate a great time even if it is short. Such a satisfying game for a few bucks for a few hours. You won’t regret getting this game.

Super Ember Kaboom is a cute platforming game where you control a small fox girl across many levels. Along with a tail swipe attack, you can collect elemental abilities that allow you to shoot an effect at enemies, such as fireballs or ice trails. Collecting fruit will grant you lives when you get enough. Each level has secret gems as well which are required to unlock various pathways on the world map. There are also a few "Shadow Mario" style levels where an illusion follows your every move, which will hurt you if it ever comes into contact with you. It is a very simple to play but that also helps make it fun and stress free to play. It is easy to pick up, play through, and have a good time with it.

Super Ember Kaboom is a fun and short burst of fun. It doesn’t do anything annoying gameplay wise, but some of the levels can be same-y. Listen, there isn’t much to say about the negatively. It doesn’t overstay its welcome. Music is fun. The graphics are bright and colorful. Well I did get the game for free I would have happily bought the game. I fully recommend it. Una pasada de juego, empieza facilito y luego se pone duro, y las fases especiales son aun mas complicadas. La verdad que de todos los plataformeros indie que jugue, este es uno de los mejores que pude disfrutar. Muchas gracias a Josh Koening por haber creado esta maravilla!

Super Ember Kaboom is an amazing game the amount of care and polish really shines. This game is beautiful to look at and even better to play. The level design is the best part, in my opinion/ Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an excellent platformer!
