Super Death Arena is a game that just appeared in my library for no apparent reason. I had no idea where it came from, until I actually played it. I realized that it's from the same devs as Lifeless, so I assume all owners of Lifeless got this game for free, which is a nice gesture on the dev's part, and I applaud them for that. With that said, how is the game itself? Well, unfortunately, it suffers from a lot of the problems I had with Lifeless. I also noticed the devs are a big fan of Overwatch. But, the devs of Overwatch were also a big fan of Team Fortress 2, so I'll give these devs a free pass too.
Positives
- Good graphics and optimization, just like Lifeless. Keep this up, devs! - Lootboxes that drop every level that give you free cosmetics for your character. - Customizable character model. - There's more variety in zombies than before, with different zombie skins for different maps.
Negatives
- Servers are based in Europe, leaving people in the Americas to deal with a constant 130+ ping, which is very frustrating when playing. Shots won't register sometimes and you'll be yanked back and forth a lot so until they get some servers in the Americas, get used to it. - Tying in with the last point, the game is always online. - 10 waves for every round is pretty short. Either add more zombies in between waves, or (what I recommend) add more waves. - During games, your gun gets upgraded every round. Sad thing is, some guns are worse than others, so you have to deal with that terrible gun for a round. Consider adding a gamemode where you can buy guns like in CoD zombies. - There's only 3 small and simple arena type maps, which get boring pretty fast. In the future, consider expanding these maps and add bigger, more complex maps. I guess you can say "Well, it is called Super Death Arena" but I still think the maps are bland and boring. - There's only two types of zombies: runners and suicide bombers. Suicide bombers run just like the zombies so they can be very annoying. - Zombies come out of doors that are locked in place, and there's usually 2 or 4 of them. So you can just watch those doors and mow them down as they come out. It's lousy. Try adding more places for them to come out of, or add more doors. - General lack of content.
Summary
Super Death Arena feels like a beta or an Early Access game. It's definitely not complete. I hope the devs update this game with new maps, and add some more gamemodes like Solo mode. This game does have potential to be an underrated game, but right now, it's just not worth your money. Should you buy it? If you're European and like simplistic zombie arena shooters, then maybe for 5 dollars and less. Above 5 dollars is asking too much for this game right now.

Well to be honest this game is more like an early access game because it's missing a lot of important things and options. The game is not so difficult to learn, it's a basic shooting zombie game. It's better to play with friends or with other people than alone. I can only recommend to people who likes basic zombie shooting games with friends. Overall it's not a bad game but as I said, it lacks of content and it's more like an early access game than a finished product.
Got this game free cause i owned Lifeless, you can have a good moment on it but very repetitive, there is no work on this game just new cosmetics, the weapons are the same on Lifeless, devs just created 3 small maps and cosmetic and they sell it 9$ , first i played 20 minutes on it, was funny i cameback in the game played 40 minutes more and I was bored, it's always the same 10 waves, same weapons everytime Definitely not worth 9$ The positive reviews are disliked cause of developers and peoples want more work on Lifeless, like sergey titov games, they are lazy are just want to make money their arguments was "The updates, performance tweaks and bug fixes done on Super Death Arena will be able to be transferred to Lifeless in a future patch too, so the work done on Super Death Arena will also have a positive effect on Lifeless in the future." And too "If Super Death Arena is successful we will be able to continue working on Lifeless as well." I don't think Super Death Arena will be successful (25% of the reviews are positive and 75% are negative ) Lifeless will never have new patch or just an hotfix every 2/3 months I don't recommand this game cause hitbox is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, if you jump on a barrel , zombies can't hit you, only 3 maps and always same weapons have potential but prefer comeback on my old and good Killing Floor than this game Sorry for my bad english and thank's for looking my review, care to this devs, will maybe change my review if they fix bugs, add contents, maps, weapons and more waves
game servers seem to be down i could never find a game i do want to play this game so add me and let see how many people it takes to get a server started. (i got this game free from lifeless i think)
I backed Lifeless before it was even on Steam. Several years ago. I love to support Indie developers. They made an interesting comeback with their game. Making it (Somewhat) stable on release for Steam then the development just stopped. After the devs went dark on Steam people started getting angry because the momentum has died out so quickly. They decided to END Lifeless, and lost their team. They thought creating "Super Death Arena" was going to save them. Using the same assets for Lifeless ( not an issue ) and turn it into something different than before. Here we are again. No servers, and no support from the Devs. For the 0.3 hours I played it was meh and of course I do not recommend it when the devs don't really care to support their fans; even if they're fans from before like myself.
I got this game for free and still feel ripped off and would like my money back. Also no way to change mouse sensitivity in a fps game, what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ year is this?! - Controls are bad - Shooting is bad - Graphics are bad - Ui is bad - Animations are bad This game is burning street trash, and not even the fun kind.
Generally speaking I think I'm pretty easy to please with games. It's easy for me to look past a few little things and enjoy what good is there. This is one of a handful of games that I really can't recommend. The reason is simple. There is nothing this game does that others don't already do MUCH better. To begin with there are only three maps that I've seen, and there only seems to be 2 servers running at a time so you options are already pretty limited. Each of these maps also includes a special hazard that appears twice in a match. These range from stupidly easy to avoid, to a random chance of survival. Arrow rain for example is easily avoided by standing under a roof. Grenade rain on the other hand will rain explosives that go off with almost no time to get away. The arenas are generally fairly small, but the AI moves so predictably that you can solo most of these maps with great ease. Adding just one or two other players, and it becomes laughably easy to rack up wins. I played on one map with two other players for approximately 15 minutes and earned four wins. Participating in these events awards you experience based on how well you do. Your reward for leveling? A lootbox. This loot box will contain a random item that has only an asthetic effect on your character. There are no stat bonuses, no special weapons, and no alternate effects. Better yet, these boxes have a chance to award you with items that you already have! This becomes a real kick in the balls when you realize that they you can buy additional loot boxes with microtransactions. You could spend actual money to unlock a vanity item you already owned! Aside from this there is nothing to make your experience unique from anyone else. There are no classes, no skills, and you weapons are predetermined for the match and identical to everyone else. In fact, only the first two melee weapons even change. After that it will be exactly the same as every other game you will ever play. If you want to play a wave based arena shooter, do yourself a favor, and just pick up Killing Floor 2.
I got this for free and I still feel ripped off. It's just a re-hashed version of Lifeless, turned into what is essentially a really bad version of Killing Floor, being used to make a few quick bucks. There is so little effort put into this to the point where the zombies can't even get past a few tires lying on the ground. In the Rodeo map, there's some tires in a corner, stand behind those tires and you will become an immortal god, being able to farm zombies as long as you like. Why did the devs make this and not spend their time working on improving Lifeless? I have no idea.
Yeah i have barely any time on this so called game but this is the most poorly done game ive ever played. There is absolutely no reason to play this game, no motivation, no pvp, no optimization, and most of all there is no reason why anyone should pay 9 bucks for this. Its a waste of time and a piece of trash. If they wanted to do something that would work then they should of used lifeless guns pvp mechanics etc. and turned lifeless into a battle royale game of some sort. But they failed these devs are trash and done waste your hard earned cash.
