TOO SLOW and clunky, literally bored while playing it on 4x speed.
Played about 11 levels, and found it extremely slow and tedious. Wasn't any real level design from what I saw: You spawn, and it's immediately obvious where the items you have to collect are, and there's nothing else to do but walk very, very, very slowly towards said items. Found myself literally staring at the clock on my wall, as I went through multiple rooms where I had to spend 7 seconds walking down a dead end to collect some orbs/coins, and then another 7 seconds walking back, etc. SEEP is an amazing game developer that usually captures old-school games perfectly, but there just isn't any real game design here. If you want some GOOD games by SEEP, I would instead recommend these when they go for $0.50 on sale: Sword & Bones 1 Adventure Bit Roar of Revenge Abduction Bit Dragon Climax
Very simple premise for a very simple game: single-screen levels where the ultimate goal is always to get the ghost(s) to leave, either by scaring off all humans present or by other ways, like collecting keys or pressing buttons, all while avoiding light sources that can be fixed, moving, or intermittent. To unleash a scare, a few orbs must be collected, and have to be collected again if more than one ends up needed. Every tenth level, it's a timed challenge to collect all orbs and summon the Master Ghost to completely take over a location, moving to the next setting. Amusingly, the first three settings are in various epochs of history, and the fourth is a museum featuring statues of humans of those eras. It's very simple, arcadey, and fairly fun. Easy too, as the 40 levels can be over in an hour or so; being faster than the other two selectable ghosts, the cat is nerfed by having fewer lives at the beginning. It can be played in two, but there are no specific levels for that, nor are the present ones really adjusted for an extra player, beside having blue orbs specifically for them, making the game even easier and faster. No regrets for having played it, though, much less when paying half an euro on sale.
Fun little arcade style game combining a Pacman with puzzles. Lovely pixel art, solid music with a smidgen of humor. A single character playthrough takes maybe an hour and the game changes with different characters but it's fun enough to replay anyways. That being said there is a 2 player mode and an additional master mode for a bit more replay value. Nothing special but exactly what I need on a slow Sunday afternoon.
