You didn't see Oregon Trail + bullet hell coming and neither did I, but somehow yes we both did and it's super amazing.

10/10 Fighting and beating my inner demons (yes, you can actually do that in this game), is equal parts insanely addicting and hilarious, just like every other bit of inspired chaos you encounter in your time in the wagon. You're thrown right into the action, and that's a really good thing. You get a generic one paragraph backstory, and what immediately follows is an action packed, old school shooter with all the gloriously absurd quick encounters you can muster. It plays in fast bursts similar in some respects to Wario Ware but with more panache and a bit more length. After about 200+ re-plays you'll see most of the dialogue, and "Atari-esque" game play on offer, but that makes the entire affair no less special... because there's always something a bit different around the bend. Once you start creating your own characters and messing around with the limited sprite editing options, you'll have even more fun. I made 3 ninja turtles that LOOKED like ninja turtles! Add replayability through unlocked wagons and score challenging side games and you've got a winner that is hard to put down.

My silly adventures ended when I got ran over by a car

This game has been the source of several inside jokes between my friends and I since my freshman year of college. I am almost 30 now and we still joke around about this game. Its really fun, silly, and a really good use of $3. It brings back fond memories, and its just overall a fun game to turn on for a bit and play with your friends.
