Sunset Planet is a tower defence game. It's fun especially for it's extremely cheap price but it's initially hard to figure out where you can place towers due to the visuals but if you look closely you can make out the indicators and get used to it. Take a look at my video to see what it's like... https://youtu.be/tyc2_cSmILY Check'n Games, providing you with as many Let's Play's as we can. Thanks for watching. Please like comment and subscribe.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Sunset Planet is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This is just a bunch of mismatched Unreal engine assets dumped onto a basic tower defense template. It's a very lazy low effort cash grab, a minimum viable product dumped quickly onto Steam through Steam Direct. There's only three towers and the map layouts are really lame... it's painfully low quality. So Dank Studio have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. One example of So Dank Studio doing this is Through The Dust, which is really the "Survival Game Kit v1" asset, written by the actual developers, Defuse Studios. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Sunset Planet is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Well its a tower defence game. Not much more to say. If you like tower defence games then get this, if you like achievements get this and you want to spend only a dollar get this. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe8bOmF69-M
It's a nice looking game, and can have pretty good potential if more was added. My main problem with the game is how towers are upgraded. Towers only level up when they kill an enemy, which results in basically all the first towers being impossible to upgrade, and normally only one maybe two towers end up being able to be upgraded to their max level and then they will kill all the enemies meaning no other tower can upgrade. This ends up in your inevitable loss, not because you should have done something different, but because the game is designed poorly in this main area. If the towers would level up over time by damage done that would fix this problem and make the game much better overall. Like I said, has potential to be a fun tower defence game, but in it's current state; it is simply not good enough. Hopefully the devs can change it as the graphics are beautiful (although the enemy types could be made more distinguishable) and I think that is a good ground to make this game successful.
Очень красивая и приятная игра, проходится быстро. Хотелось бы побольше уровней.
Had an interesting time with this Tower Defense title. Graphics are good and music appeals (at least to me). Tower placement can initially be a bit vague, notwithstanding you will soon work out there are placement pads (that could be a bit more prominent). Would not mind a "zoom out" option. Have just got through the 3 levels (20/20/15 rounds) Given the download is a hefty 2gb, I was wondering in the Unreal engine was the "bloater". However, for the price, you can't complain!!

One of the great conscientious objectors known was, Muhammad Ali. But now we have to include 'Sunset Planet Developer' for his utter brash intent of rebelling against the popular trends of gaming and deciding to make this complete flop of pancake. I was greeted on entry, by nothing but a simple menu and a occasional wisp of a C sharp, unlike the graphics... nothing sharp about them. On the positive, the towers have some cool effects, the UI is beautifully clean and map is quite cool. I wish it had more assets though. I think i have seen enough purple flowers for now. I think they're purple, I dont know, im colourblind and there werent any settings for me. The biggest flaw though, is definitely its lack of thought before design. There's less strategy in this game than Donald Trump's foreign diplomacy but enough of his stupidity in difficulty that anyone can win. The towers have depth and a great lore behind them. The stories of the magic and energy is truly unique. I dont think ive heard of them before. By the way, what is gold? Never seen it in coin form before in games. If you made this game and are reading this, Well Done for Supporting the Tower Defence genre, but for the love of Etheria, dont make another. Wait! Do! It'll make ours look better.
