Love the graphics and the idea behind this game... BUT would I call it a game tho? It really seems like it's just a walking simulator/meditation simulator. It's kind of the first game for me which I like... but I don't. The idea... messages at the end... graphics (still can't get over the fact of how beautiful this game is) all get squished by the fact that I was actually bored "playing" it. But hey! If you have 30 min to spare then go for it and try it for yourself :)

A walking simulator with a monotone scenery. So not actually a very good walking simulator, but the monologue is good. However, it's quite difficult to hear what's being said in the monologue, due to the on-repeat music, which has a very loud and dominating default volume. I recommend setting music volume down to 70%, then it's much easier to listen to the voices. Kinda disappointed at the ending, since it just sorta stops, and then there's nothing to do, not even anything interesting to look at, and you're not given any other hints that the game is over, except that the story has a sort-of conclusion to it. I'm usually forgiving for small artsy games which I often enjoy, but Sunlight felt a little half-assed, and very unlike other impressive games from Krillbite. Even had graphical glitches with the character controller. The concept I have nothing against, execution was simply just not there.
It was alright, to be completely honest, I would only endorse you to buy the game if its on sale, simply because the gameplay is VERY linear, there is virtually nothing to do and its basically just an interactive art project. I did love the artstyle and the message behind the game tho
unfortunately the voices were jarring and yet unengaging, along with the gameplay and graphical glitches
https://youtu.be/9sR63xn2J1M Without taking advantage of the interactive nature of videogames, the medium used to convey this story comes up lacking.
It's human, too human.
