Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Не хочет подключаться, а если подключается - выкидывает. Приложение тяжелое и тормозит.
This is a perfect example of a great game: 1- Good story telling. 2- Good visuals. 3- Good music and sound design. 4- Easy to learn and pickup. 5- Doesn't bore you to death before the action starts. 6- And the most amazing feat of them all, intuitive controls (through your smartphone) and amazing gameplay. It's fun for parties, family, with children, you name it! My wife is not into gaming and she had a blast playing this, and the accessibility of it all made it that much more enjoyable.
Nice streamlined party tactical battle game. It's cute, it makes us laugh, it makes us discuss our moves and cheer when someone gets a great attack or combo. Easy couch co-op game for everyone.
Super fun party game. Simple to start, yet complex as the game proceeds. I like the customization and utility of each character. Fun to jump on and play with friends via Google Meet whenever we get 30-60 minutes to play a mission. Highly recommend.
Sunderfolk is a thoughtful and unusually social turn-based tactical RPG developed by Secret Door and published by Dreamhaven, designed from the ground up to recreate the feeling of gathering around a table for a shared adventure. Rather than emphasizing solitary play or competitive mastery, the game places collaboration, communication, and collective decision-making at its core, framing every encounter as something to be discussed, debated, and solved together. From the moment it begins, Sunderfolk makes its intentions clear: this is less about individual heroics and more about the joy of planning, improvising, and reacting as a group. The most immediately distinctive feature of Sunderfolk is its use of smartphones and tablets as player controllers. Instead of each participant needing a traditional controller or their own copy of the game, players connect via a companion app that functions as a personalized interface for cards, abilities, inventory, and character information. This approach cleverly mirrors the physical sensation of holding a hand of cards or a character sheet in a tabletop RPG, while eliminating setup time and clutter. The main screen becomes a shared board, while each player’s device feels private and tactile, encouraging discussion without information overload. Once the novelty fades, the system proves to be intuitive and surprisingly immersive, reinforcing the sense that everyone at the table has equal ownership of the experience. Combat in Sunderfolk is turn-based and grid-based, emphasizing positioning, timing, and synergy over raw numbers or reflexes. Each character class has a distinct identity and role, expressed primarily through a deck of ability cards that determine movement, attacks, and special effects. Choosing which card to play is rarely a simple matter, as many abilities interact with terrain, enemy states, or the actions of allies. This design pushes players to talk constantly, coordinating turns and adjusting plans on the fly as enemies react and the battlefield evolves. Encounters often feel like handcrafted scenarios rather than generic fights, rewarding careful thought and cooperation while still allowing room for creative or risky plays. Outside of combat, Sunderfolk maintains a light but charming narrative framework centered on a threatened village and the strange forces surrounding it. The story serves primarily as a connective thread between missions, giving context to why the party is venturing into dangerous territory and what’s at stake if they fail. While the writing doesn’t aim for epic drama or moral complexity, it succeeds in establishing a warm, inviting tone that fits the game’s communal focus. Anthropomorphic characters, expressive illustrations, and gentle humor help the world feel approachable and friendly, making it easy for players of different skill levels or gaming backgrounds to engage with the experience. What truly elevates Sunderfolk is how well it accommodates different ways of playing together. It works equally well as a couch-based game night experience, where friends or family gather around a single screen, or as a remote session using screen sharing and voice chat. Because only one copy of the game is required, it lowers the barrier to entry and encourages spontaneous group play, turning it into something closer to a recurring social ritual than a traditional video game. The pacing supports this idea too, with sessions that feel substantial but not exhausting, allowing groups to naturally decide when to pause and resume their campaign. That said, Sunderfolk is clearly at its best with multiple players. While solo play is possible, managing several characters at once can feel more like administration than adventure, and much of the game’s charm is lost without the conversation and negotiation that naturally emerge in group settings. There is also a short adjustment period as players learn to juggle information between their device and the main screen, though this typically fades after a few encounters. These drawbacks are relatively minor, but they reinforce that Sunderfolk is intentionally designed as a shared experience first and foremost. Overall, Sunderfolk succeeds not by reinventing tactical RPG mechanics, but by reframing them around human connection. It captures the spirit of tabletop gaming—planning together, celebrating clever plays, laughing at mistakes, and feeling collectively responsible for success or failure—within a polished digital format. For players looking for a cooperative game that prioritizes teamwork, accessibility, and shared memories over competitive intensity or solo optimization, Sunderfolk offers a refreshing and genuinely social take on the tactical RPG genre.
