Amazing game, this is what it feels like to have couch co-op again!
This game is very well done. If you enjoy table top role playing games this is a title you should consider adding to your library. As it has launched recently along with the Campaign Mode it has a One Shot mode that allows players the opportunity to participate in one combat trial, one challenge trial and two puzzle trials. These are good for learning the different characters strengths and combat techniques. The game does not require co op as you can build a team of two to four characters using one phone or tablet. It creates flexibility by having open initiative allowing players to communicate and strategize during combat rounds. It has four different difficulty levels from beginner to seasoned adventurer. I would like to see the roster of classes expand with a healer/buff/debuff type. Not that it is needed to be successful but just to add more variety to the teams. As always the more support shown to titles like this, there is always a chance for additional Campaigns to be added in the future.

This game ain't for me, but I wish it was - and it's a stupid problem where accessibility meets their hill to die on. First, the good: this game looks stunning and the vibe is off the chain. I love the woodland animal vibe where we're all talking bears or ... I mean, WTF is the bard? But I love that guy. Anyway, you're going to be deeply drawn into this game from a presentation layer unless your heart is made of volcanic glass. The game's got good strategy (from what I've played) - it reminds me a lot of Gloomhaven, but without the requirement for a PhD in Astrophysics. Easy to get the hang of, but with a lot of depth. Now, the bad, and why it's not for me: your old nemesis, presbyopia. I need glasses to see the TV where this game displays the main screen, BUT I can't wear those while looking at my phone up close. There's no 'controller' option for this - you've got to look at the TV, and your phone, back and forth, and if you have presbyopia, you're going to be taking your glasses off (and putting them back on) all the fn time. I totally get why the phone is a controller for multiplayer instances, but the LACK of a 'real' controller is a massive blow for us aging gamers who might otherwise buy your product, but honestly, can't, because we CAN'T SEE THE FN GAME. Other than that, it's a sweet story-based strategy/RPG hybrid and I recommend it to anyone under 40.
