Fun game to play with others. Great story with a variety of customization and things to do for a RPG. The best things seem to be naming things and customizing your moves as well as talking to the townsfolk to gain affection from them. Definitely recommend if you're into roguelikes or dungeons and dragons type games.

I played this with my cousins during a holiday and this game is so fun! Its a great way to introduce casual gamers into the tactical RPG genre. The combat is grid based, and resembles Gloomhaven, but the mechanics are very streamlined and easy to learn. The UI design on the phone app is really well made and easy to navigate, and it just works. No bugs or lag in my experience, very easy to hop into a game. I love the animal character designs, and combat on regular difficulty feels really well balanced. The only con I have is the lack of voice acting variety, as every character is voiced by the same actor, but it isn't bad, just very mid.
Amazing use of technology, and not just a tech demo, but also a great game too! So much fun playing on the couch with kids all using ipads and phones, streamed to my TV using the Apple TV Steam Link App. ipads and phones can be shared if you dont have enough to go around. The game itself is brilliant. I'm playing it solo (because I'm very hardcore etc etc), me and my wife have a save we're playing through, on top of the 4 player save with the kids. Can't recommend it enough. I'm already sad that at some point it will end and there's no other game like it on the market!

This games technical finesse is tied for the best part of this game, seamless connections and only some awkwardness when using movement on your phone. - Fights are dynamic and change heavily based on your character. - New skill and fate cards, trinkets and the level up system is very player friendly - Balanced mode does not have a turn limit which makes the game way less stressful than gloomhaven's combat. - Only one person having to own the game is awesome. There are hiccups and rough spots, like the story/writing at some points and Peryl (hate that guy), but other than that the polish and care in this game is amazing.
