Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I only played the free demo on PC (Solo) the first two missions. I do like the overall design of this game and it seems to have great potential to be fun and such, however, the game plays very slow. You have to click twice for every order or if you want to skip that order. I feel I have to fight the UI to get anything done. Units are also animated quite slow e.g. waddling slowly over to where you ordered them just to make an equally slow attack animation. Unfortunately, I could not find an option to skip the confirmation step or to speed up the game. Otherwise this might be a good game.
A good game ruined by annoying voice acting and appaling boss level design. Especially the final boss in which it summons, acts after every hero and deals massive damage is just a lazy way of trying to create a challenging level. Would only rank this a 3 out of five. Would reccommend this but not at full price.

That's probably a very cool game and it looks cute. I love card crawlers and tactical\turn based games and maybe I will revisit it and change my mind later. But I really disliked the gameplay - I hated the huge cards and huge signs the size the half of my screen shoved in my face every single time I'd select a card and I really hated how the card would have the strickt sequence of actions that my character must perform. Like if I am at a good position to attack, I can't just attack, I have to move first 4 tiles around and then attack. And if it's not possible - I just either skip or can't attack from a new position. I literally couldn't even get through the tutorial part, because I found it quite asinine. And it wasn't even explained (in the tutorial part!), I had to google why the hell I can't attack or forced to move. Not for me, duck this.
Amazing game, played campaign single player, challenging difficulty, with 2 heroes. Perfect balance of challenge and fun! The story is great, characters are interesting (favourite is Wurmsbait). Not usually a fan of turn based strategy games but this one is special! Well worth it.
very slow and not worth the money
Fun at the beginning, gets worse and worse towards the end, culminating in the final battle. Has to be one of the worst designed bosses I've seen in any game. Pros: Fun to play casually as a couch coop for a while Cons: Story is made for literal babies, tiny tiny babies. Story sections feel tedious. City building is railroaded, and feels like a chore. Character building is extremely limited, and in the end doesn't really feel to matter.
This is an extremely solid and well done experience that deserves your attention if you appreciate collaborative turn-based games. I play with a group of three friends which I imagine is the ideal experience. The campaign is quirky in an endearing way with missions that can range from marvel avengers steam roll fests to tactical strategy planning. You need your phone as that's how you interact with your character and the town (people complaining about having to use your phone, it literally tells you. So don't be surprised.). If you've played Gloomhaven... this is Gloomhaven done in a much cleaner way. Accessible D&D. Accessible Baldur's Gate. This core group that I'm playing with are historically very temperamental about sitting down for games that ask a lot of their time, attention, and imagination. It's made Gloomhaven a complete no. This game has given everyone in the group something to enjoy by making the hard stuff engaging and fun and streamlining tedious bits. I play as a bird after all and I'm trying to bag a puffin. So make of that what you will. UX/UI is really clean and very satisfying. And aside from mission dungeon crawls the game is really about injecting loot into the town to boost the economy. So a lil town/econ sim. The game keeps all players engaged by periodically giving the steering wheel to different people at different times to do fun little things like naming buildings silly things in your town, creating a shared story grounded in your group. Again I kind of think this game wouldn't be ideal on your own for these reasons, but with a group, it's a banger. Idk... It's a great game. People giving it a negative review are just not paying attention. It should be an overwhelmingly positive rating.
Sunderfolk is a ridiculously charming tactical co-op RPG. The writing for the main campaign is well done and features a full cast of entertaining and lovable characters (except Peryll, screw that guy). It does (currently, an upcoming update is slated to offer mouse and keyboard controls) require a phone for each player to play, but don't let that discourage you. The phone lets each player control their cursor when needed and allows each player to view their character info, look up monster stats, or play with their settings without halting the game for everybody else. Best bonus: Only one person needs to own the game and it runs very smoothly with steam's remote play.
Basically a frictionless way to get into a dense, tactical boardgame. Tactically it's a bit shallower than games it's inspired by (notably, Gloomhaven) but the changes make for MUCH easier onboarding for new players. There's a lot of fun interactivity too, and the ability to occasionally rename characters, items, and monsters can be absolutely hilarious. So, fun tactics and good co-op features. My hangups are outside the actual missions and tactical play. The story the game tells in cutscenes between missions is so simple and childish it's actually a bit off-putting to play as an adult. Like imagine a TV show for children ages 5-7. I was frequently asking myself who the game is for, as the audience for this narrative is absolutely too young to own smartphones or engage in fairly complicated hex-based tactical combat. Also - and this might be a personal taste thing - the voice acting is a bit silly. It's all done by a single voice actor pitching her voice all over, and she is doing a heroic job of it, but I just can't buy the same VA doing: wise old turtle lady, gruff male ogre, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ penguin merchant, and adorable(?) pet caterpillar. This a weak point when the production effort is otherwise so high, and it would be less distracting to not voice anything at all. That would be my choice for a second playthrough of the campaign.
