About

Summer Vacation is a gay adult visual novel about self-discovery, first love, and the chaos... of figuring out who you really are. Join Mathew through this summer, and his first year at university. Every choice shapes the bonds you build, and the person you'll become.

Three weeks. One summer. Everything changes.
Mat is about to start university, armed with the kind of dry humor that keeps the world at a safe distance. But before that, he's off on vacation to a beautiful house in the middle of nowhere, staying with Silvia, Steven and Fabien. He expects three quiet weeks of boredom and small talk.
He couldn't be more wrong.
Between familiar faces that have changed far more than expected and a whole new cast of friends, the walls Mat has carefully built around himself start to crack. Unexpected feelings surface. Boundaries blur. And for the first time, he has to face questions about himself he never dared to ask.

But summer doesn't last forever. As time passes and university begins, the relationships Mat has forged — and the choices you've made — follow him into a new chapter of his life. New faces, new challenges, and deeper connections await.

Reviews
One of the best visual novels I've ever played!
I think that the relation of Matt and Fabien is great, They look hot together and Fabien is the more handsome of all of Matt suitors. But they remind me of a phrase of "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" from Milan Kundera. Kundera quotes a German phrase from Beethoven, from his last string quartet, Op. 135: "Es muss sein!" Fabien is Matt´s "Es muss sein". So if Mathew ultimately chooses one of the other suitors (or doesn't choose at all, which is worse), it always feels like a betrayal of Fabien, of his destiny.
Finally on steam, I've been subscribed on Patreon for a few months now. There's a lot of content, definitely worth the price, and the details are great. I just wish there were more side routes, like one-night stands and stuff. My daddy issues are kicking in
Well it's a sexaulised picture supported story with light animation. It's longer than most . Well it's not finished so some parts are odd to say the least... disjointed. Some of the facial expressions need altering becasue they seem off-story or creepy. The protaginst overthinks a great deal and the images of him vary from very attractive to absolutely not. The sexual elements are there though not as prominent as other games of this type. There's a lot of plot-driven interruption. Most of the images are nice, the story has the general feel of comign to age. There's far too much focus on a bully character Peter who is plot forced into the story even when you steer clear. I think it's worth the price I paid but it needs work.
Even though the story doesn't make much sense at times, I really enjoyed playing the whole game. Overall, it's a great game that I highly recommend! and you might end up liking it. :)
I liked the game it was cute. The romance and the dynamics of the friends you have/make in the game, makes it fun to play. In terms of the characters, my least favorite would be either Mathew or Jin. Mathew overthinks just about every action "he" does. It's like "I did this glass of water. Wait, why didn't I get a glass of fruit punch instead?? Does this mean/this that. Let's ponder about this for the next year" Trust me I know what it's like to overthink things so I can empathize. Ngl I had a couple of times where I had to roll my eyes. Made me want to reach into my SD, shake him and tell him "Just enjoy the moment dangit!" Jin is wound too tight almost robotic. Definitely not someone that feels like a real person. I feel like even deep/philosophical people have moments where their stick comes out. There were times where he did don't get me wrong. At the same time, it's exhausting having someone be so boring. All and all, I enjoyed the story. I played a similar game with full voice "acting" but it was a cute coming out/romance. I'd still recommend it
Super reccomended. Though the characters aren't that tempting, but smhow the whole story telling is mindblowing. with only 2-5$, whole long stroy waiting ahead <3 Like it so much, although, I wanted uncle steven having an affair with Mathew and more than that a threesome with his own son. But maybe it could be in the future.
I LOVE this game; I've known about it for years, and I love seeing more Itch games come to Steam. I panicked when there was all that commotion about games being deleted, but now I finally have this game in my account.
