Elfie: A Sand Plan

NEED MORE ELFIE IP GAMES!! Especially in the desktop companion genre. I really hope so!

it's kinda like picross but you build sandcastles with your friend-shaped friend. it's great! only gripe i have is that i wish you could use mousewheel to select blocks

This is genuinely the most beautiful game I have ever played. Elfie is such an amazingly crafted character, so rotund. No joke, 5 minutes in I actually burst into tears. The music, the atmosphere, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pixel art... It is so well crafted, and blends so beautifully together. The gameplay is so amazing, and I've played about 10 minutes of it. And I am definitely going to play more. The frequent and heartwarming reminders from Elfie that how I play is up to me, and everything is going to be okay. And not even to mention the adorable bounces she does when you build a sand castle right. I love this game. This game may have actually fixed me. I love this game. Literally the best 10 dollars I have ever and will ever spend. I f*cking love this game and this round elephant who I will love like a child.

Absolutely love the artstyle and the roundest Elfie as my sandcastle building partner <3 The variety of stuff you can turn on and off for [i] your [/i] playstyle is really plausable! At first game is pretty easy but levels past the basics it made me really think on the design. To be honest, I didn't expect this game to have this many levels, and it certainly is a pleasant surprise. Last, but not least, music is so chill, it really gives off the "calm day at the beach" vibe. Overall: [b] I love it! [/b]

Buy for Elfie, play for Elfie. Puzzles are straightforward and satisfying.

This is my first ever steam review and I am making it just to speak on how much i love and appreciate what this game is. I do spoil the story and game mechanics so read at your own risk. I have never enjoyed a single puzzle game as much as i have with Elfie, and its mechanics though simple, leave enough room for complexity that I was rarely angered of the puzzles of this game. The sand castles and other things you make in this game never feel repetitive and (with a few exceptions) are all readable as buildings and other objects. The letters were a highlight for me because of their simplicity whilst being ingenuitive with how the blocks form them. Lastly, their use of different buckets made it easy to find the blocks I needed, and i got into a grove by the end of the game. The music and art style are extremely well done and the camera angles you get access to throughout are very cute and pretty. The accesability options were very welcome with turning off the crt being helpful for me in particular. I loved Elfie so much, This is going to be a separate paragraph because I would like to say just how well this game got me attached to her. Elfie's dialogue was so well written that I genuinely believed I was helping a young child with building sand castles, and I bawled my eyes out for a long while when I finished the game and the last song and cutscene played. The song was perfect as well and though I dont know who made it i give my props to them. (please release it on spotify or band camp if you haven't yet!) I'm looking at Elfie in game one last time before I close the game for a while and I get a little teary eyed because I enjoyed this game so much and am going to genuinely miss Elfie a lot. This review is quite sappy but I wished to post my thoughts on it because I enjoyed it that much. I am patiently waiting for the other game you are developing with the titular character ELFIE, and I thank you developers of this game for getting me attached to the cutest lil rotund elephant in the world.

I love Elfie so much it hurts SO. SO. GOOD. I loved absolutely everything about this game. Elfie is PRECIOUS and I love all the little interactions. Great soundtrack, some legitimately challenging puzzles mixed in (but never too challenging) and such a cozy game that I love returning to each day, after a shift at the long day factory
