About

Plan ahead, outsmart enemies and progress a world of dark creatures and cunning evil. Utilize playful and tactile weaponry in visceral and intense combat. Create unique builds by combining weapons, gear, tools, and enchantments to suit your playstyle. Whether you’re a gun-blazing risk-taker or a careful strategist, the choice is yours. Adapt your approach, experiment, and survive the dangers of Sulfur.

Enter a world packed with relentless action, powerful firearms, and dynamic FPS combat, where unpredictable enemies lurk in every shadow. Arm yourself with an array of weapons that can be modified and enchanted with a vast range of attachments and effects.
As you explore, uncover hidden secrets, collect valuable loot, and discover rare treasures – but tread carefully. Every decision counts: the gear you bring may be lost if you fail, and the equipment you leave behind won't be there when you need it most. Risk and reward are tightly intertwined in every choice you make.

Experience the atmosphere, suspense and tribulation of a world in redemption. What happened? And why? Travel through eerie caverns, sordid Black Guild shanties, putrid sewers and pass through castle walls and beyond. Go deeper, head on. Answers come to those who listen.

Explore, discover, uncover. On your adventure you encounter strange creatures in unexpected places—pay attention to their warnings. Whether they despise, admire, or ignore you, your path is yours to forge. Stay alert; these encounters may offer insights, but ultimately, it’s up to you to push forward and find the answers you seek.

A bloodstained white collar
Dirt on your shoes
Your shoulders are aching
Is this but a ruse?
A coven is suspect
A church is aflame
Who is the culprit?
Who is to blame?
Ocean screaming,
Twisting turning
Mouth is dry,
Eyes are burning
But you must tread on,
There is no remorse

哗!便是看这花哨的换弹动画便够本吔!
My god, this game is utterly PEAK. It's well-made, has a good mix of a silly sense of humor and a serious, horrifying tone, and it's REALLY DAMN ADDICTING! As of writing this review, I haven't beaten this game yet, but I'm enjoying every minute of it! I can't wait for it to come out on other consoles so my friends on Switch 2 can play it!!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SULFUR Review : *** This is a spoiler-free review, with the option of hovering over spoiler boxes like this one
BOOP
to learn more at the risk of losing the fun of exploring/discovering said thing yourself *** Note : This game is not a rogue-like, as it doesn't have mid-run upgrades that disappear after you're done with the run, instead... everything you get can be extracted out and stored in your base or brought into you future runs This game is for you if... : You like first person shooters, guns, progression, trying/making different builds, and maybe inventory management Guns and Gunplay : The guns feel really satisfying, whether you want something simple and easy, to wild death machines that control you more than you control them There's a big collection of what seems to be 40+ guns, each with their own damage, firerate, accuracy, recoil, sound, and some come with unique mechanics (and even an incredible little inspection animation +
a unique cool UI element representing the amount of ammo left in the magazine
) resulting in a very healthy variety, but this is only the beginning because guns can be customized in ways that completely change their behavior Gun Upgrades and Progression : There are
2
ways of upgrading weapons : 1. Attachments, which
focus on stat upgrades like +10% Crit Chance, or +35% recoil, but some offer unique effects like making almost any single or burst fire gun automatic, or making an automatic gun single fire while increasing it's damage a bit, also there are sights and scopes
,
2. Enchantments, which provide unique and wild changes to the gun, for example -80% Damage but shooting an enemy will cause them to ignore the player for ~2 seconds, or a scroll that makes dead enemies get revived as allies and increases their duration based on how many times you shoot their corpse before they're revived
There are
4
progression systems in the game (at least those are what I discovered so far) :
1. Money and purchasing items and weapons from shops, 2. Ranking up guns to be able to apply upgrades to them, 3. quests and stamps which allow you to get storage upgrades, a way to buy as much ammo as you'd like, a way to remove oils and scrolls from guns if you and more, 4. sacrificing rank 5 weapons to be able to purchase them at any time in the base (for an increased AND increasing cost)
Overall... you'll have a lot to experiment with and a lot to work towards Maps and Enemies : So far from my experience it seems each map provides a somewhat unique take, slightly different situations and maybe even a gimmick to differentiate itself from others, while also having a distinct theme and a dominant color (that typically is the color of the fog and skybox) providing a different feel and variety both in gameplay and in visuals. For example
Parkouring your way through the dark claustrophobic tunnels of "Caves" is contrasted by scouting for sniper nests in the vast cityscapes of "Town"
Enemy designs fuel gameplay variety, as not only there are enemies that only appear on certain maps, but also there is a chance of
enchanted/elite enemies (or ghosts) spawning
which can change how you approach a situation, for example you might be trying to shotgun your way into the list of god's favorite goblin slayers and then you encounter an enemy that
explodes upon death
or you might be feeling comfortable enough to speedrun through the upcoming room until... the doors are locked and you realize you're trapped with an enemy that has
4x it's expected HP, 2x damage, and killing it will spawn 3 normal versions of it
, leaving you with the haunting thought that you chose to pickup an ugly
Christmas sweater
instead of those extra healing items. That being said... so far a strategy that never failed me is to
run back to where you came from and shoot safely
, but they recently added
doors (which can lock you into a room if you're rushing fast)
which addresses this aspect to a bit, but it's still a bit too good of a strategy and breaks a bit of the uniqueness of the levels and builds (faster build slower build, close range far range, small map big map, mostly doesn't matter, this strategy seems to always work to high effectiveness, at least in the
earlier 3
levels), but it seems that the most recent area I unlocked... fixed this issue through enemies that are
faster than me in my slow armored build
Cons : . Quality of Life : The game is missing a few QoL features like dragging an item in the inventory onto another doesn't swap their places, and not having search function
for an item across your many containers so you'll have to keep things organized
Notable accessibility options : . You can save and quit between stages/floors/levels (A stage is ~1-4 mins), or if your amulet is filled you can extract at any time (so it's not a commitment to start a run) . Gamma (brightness, which can make the game feel way more alive or way more grim depending on how you prefer it) . Auto Run (the character is always running, and holding sprint makes you walk instead) . UI and Font Size Conclusion : Gun fantasy to the max, great performance, constant(~2 months apart) updates bringing in new content and smoothing out the few rough edges, and if you're still not sure... feel free to try the free demo (it doesn't have all features and all content, but it can give a great look into what this game's loop and systems feel like, and for me it was so much fun so that I spent ~17 hours on the demo alone) or you can reveal some of the spoilers in this review for more information Tips For New Players : . For information without spoilers consider using this website " https://sulfur.wiki.gg/ " (because Sulfur Fandom seems to be missing a lot of information and YouTube seems to be a dangerous territory if you wanna go into the game semi-blind and don't wanna get prematurely exposed to future weapons/maps) . Try to keep ~2 of each item (because some of them are useful for progression) if you can afford the storage space . Keep storage organized (so it's not impossible to find what you need) Goblin Retina / 10
😙👌
Pretty solid game would buy if you like linear style gaming with a little story just pass the dungeons and loot. Great way to pass time it's fun tbh. Ngl I feel like the quest givers are like rare when you carry the loot you need for them but plenty when you don't. Lol it's a little weird but still fun.
tuff game makes me really angry to play though because I'm bad
