[h1] Sweetness overload [/h1] Sugar Sweet Temptation looks like a pretty generic VN at first glance as I know multiple other VNs with very similar settings, thats why I went into it without high expectations. Now after finishing my first playthrough though, I have to say I am very positively surprised. The setting, although quite simple and well known, is very well done and has some unique little extras, like the mc having amnesia. The writing in this vn is also really good and just oozes with sweetness and wholesomness. I also really like the music and the general atmosphere. Its just a very calming experience that still manages to keep being interesting, by using some minor drama elemtents and some very fun and good dialogue, which actually isnt easy as a lot of VNs in this genre can get boring at times. The art is also very pretty as are the character sprites, just the resolution is a little low which could be a bit problematic on 4k monitors. There is also a patch for the game on the devs website which you can easily find by googling for it. Which I only recommend if you enjoy Loli content. Even without the patch there is a lot of content in the routes and they really arent necessary to enjoy the game. Overall a very well written and translated vn that should be a great fit for anyone looking for a relaxing wholesome experience. It is also priced quite fairly as the game is around 20 hours long if you play through the three available routes and the polish is very good.
