It's the best Macht 3 game I've played for many reasons that I'll explain: Generally this genre is based only on matching 3 or more gems or objects and scoring, it can be good as a pastime but it is a bit of a repetition because you always do the same things every level. "Suddenly Meow" is different because you do not have to match gems at random, but according to a scheme that we must understand to create a road and allow our cat to get to the fish. Each level changes because while we play we have to break boxes, run magnets to move objects, cut down bushes to find hidden objects and more; it is not a passive game but active because it is necessary to reason and understand how to set a suitable path for Tim Not only that but there are also Minigames looking for items and battles with Match 3 shots . The thing I liked the most was using the reward coins won in the game to furnish Tim's room, as you continue to be able to furnish the place and buy lots of toys and delicious food to make the beautiful cat happy. WEFT TIM is a nice brindle cat, loves adventure and likes to explore and look for new places to walk. While walking in a mysterious place he gets lost and discovers that he is lost in a dark forest, where in the shadows hide strange characters and creatures, victims of a spell of an evil witch. Our cat will have to face this witch and her servants in order to free the animals and the forest from the curse that hangs over them. CONCLUSION It is an excellent product, full of fantasy, colors, it is not boring or repeatative, but pure fun, you have to act with logic to overcome the puzzles and you can safely overcome each level, because I noticed that there is not a difficulty that is growing thus making it more difficult to finish the game, but simply each level is different and requires a suitable strategy. I recommend it, also because it requires little video memory and also runs on a low-power PC, I found it a nice pastime.
Suddenly Meow
I do NOT recommend this game to anyone, at any price. It is vague and confusing. It is more difficult than it needs to be, because it is vague and confusing. I eventually made it to Level 23, and that's as far as I got. I couldn't figure out what to do on that level, and you don't get explanations. I fumbled around for quite some time, then finally found a guide online. The guide gave instructions, and plainly said that Level 23 was virtually impossible without using Powerups. Good luck with that. Using the Powerups correctly is vague and confusing. I'm quitting the game at Level 23 and uninstalling. I like cats, but I don't like THIS cat. Tim can find someone else to decorate his room. I'm moving on to a game that makes more sense. This is a Thumbs Down from me, no matter what the price.
Suddenly Meow is a typical mobile ported Match-3/Bejewelled ripoff from HH games, who have a long and sordid history of dumping free and cheap mobile apps on Steam at exhorbitant prices as cash grabs. This is no exception. Gameplay here is... yes... typical Match-3, copied + pasted from an often used Unity Match-3 engine that HH uses time and time again. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game only ever reached a peak player count of 5. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason, PC gamers don't like mobile apps. Suddenly Meow has an overly optimistic price of around $6 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.

Suddenly Meow is a match 3 that took me by surprise. It was exceptionally good and refreshing! I would categorize it as classic puzzle and not just a simple match 3. This is not only because it runs in 3 different modes (relaxing, limited moved and timed) but mainly because of the “tasks” you need to do to clear each level. The first 20-30 out of 90 levels keep introducing you to new mechanics and “tasks” as well as mini games and your hideout (aka a type of “level up” system). You are trying to help the cat make its way through the forest that got lost in. The introduction of the new elements in the puzzles are very smooth and clear and if you get confused, a help book is available to remind you of how it works. You also get a hideout early on in which you unlock various power ups and decorate your cat’s hideout with them. The first impression is so-so as it is quite minimal and with almost no settings but you’ll soon realize it’s not a rushed game. It’s very well made and carefully designed. Even the texts hold no errors and are fun to read as a mini break from all the matching. As for the puzzles themselves, they require attention to finish each level, even in relaxing mode, and very few things depend on luck – if you have no idea on how to approach the level and simply match randomly with no aim until it “clears” then you’ll be in this level forever. The actual mini games are plenty and also act as nice intervals between levels giving you plenty of coins to buy your next upgrade and relax from the thinking. You get to find a hidden object in a screen full of objects with nice backgrounds and you are shown below half-images of what you are supposed to find (not a typical hidden object scene). The second is “halves”, one image cut in two and you are trying to match them. Pretty fun! The game has great replay-ability and there is no chance you’ll get bored with it! Have hours of fun in this MEOW-tastic match 3 puzzler that won’t disappoint! Suddenly Meow is a 5/5 paws game! https://youtu.be/P7Hjtz7vqIA Going hard on the weird visuals is worth a nod, but outside of that it struggles to have a strong identity or core gameplay loops.
Don't be misled by the simple graphics. This isn't just another M3 game with the same old, same old from a bunch of other games in the genre. It's a puzzle game in disguise. And like a lot of puzzle games, you can get completely stuck and will have to figure it out for yourself when a level has become impossible. There's no hand-holding: even though most of the powerups are similar to ones seen in other M3 games, here, they don't remove playing tiles or obstacles - they'll only rearrange the playing pieces. You can still render a level impossible to finish even playing in relaxed mode. A lot of the 90 levels have you making pathways between the hero cat, Tim, and fish in the playfields. The obstacles require thinking ahead to plan out the strategy, and doing things in a particular order to solve the puzzles. There are a handful of traditional M3 levels where you are clearing tiles or dropping items to the bottom of the board, but even some of the "drop items to the bottom" are really challenging. Periodically, battle levels appear in which you must deplete the boss' energy before the boss drains all of Tim's energy. Seven minigames each of HOS and "match the halves together" games appear every so often in between levels for a rest break. There is a scene building element which isn't optional, as you need to complete it in order to upgrade Tim's battle skills, and the later bosses are tough. Not much of a storyline, but it's cute. If you enjoy puzzle games and don't mind a challenge in your M3s, much recommended! The developer has a blurb on their website "Games for Masterminds", which I haven't always found to be true for the games they list in this category - some are more like "super easy total chillax" to me - but Suddenly Meow fits the bill. If you liked the concept of this game but found the puzzles a little too hard, Suddenly Meow 2 is easier, as is Suddenly Meow Christmas.
Great Game! A challenging match 4 puzzle with increasing levels of difficulty. But I finished them all!
I can not set up the proper size of elements for 1280*1024. It does not fit with any settings unless the elements are too tiny.
