Mini Words: Polyglot

This is a really nice game that includes several languages, including English, Russian, German, Portuguese, Spanish and French. This game will help you to learn or familiarize yourself with other languages. There are 300 different levels to complete to unlock all the achievements. The game takes approximately 7 hours to complete. All the achievements are unlocked by completing all the levels, therefore none of the achievements are missable.

Another Mini Words, and the same style of puzzles, find certain words in a field of letters, but this time through foreign words (unless you know one of the 5 languages) but if you know the language it's gonna be very easy, but if you don't it's gonna be very hard, so i don't know which side it caters too. What i can imagine is if you are a novice at learning either of those 5 languages it's nice to learn a few words with it, but there is still the matter of having to use all letters, and since there are very long words, and words that have the same letters, it's often a bit rage inducing and you just wanna grab a guide with it. On it's own as a game i wouldn't recommend it, but if you see it as, and can use it as a tool to learn some foreign words, then yeah it's a nice way to learn some.

I mostly enjoyed this, but I would only recommend it to people who have a working vocabulary in one of the six languages available (French, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, German, Russian). Other wise it's going to be hours of just looking up translations, which is not the most fun way to learn a language for most people. You can choose which language it shows you by default by changing their order on the menu screen. In the game screen you can easily switch between the languages but I just stayed on French because I don't know the other languages. You have to find English translations of the words shown. However, a certain handful of these are not straight translations but are more like crossword clues, where the answer is a secondary usage or related word. If you can't find the link it comes down to looking for any English word you can find in the board. This game also uses LYNE-like mechanics, through generally on the easier side, with the challenge being find in the words and then pathing them on the board. I've you've played LYNE that will be an advantage, but only up to a point, as the 1000+ vocabulary words need to be translated. Overall this is a good vocab practice if you are refreshing one of the six languages, but I wouldn't treat it as a tool for starting out on a language. If you are learning English as a second language it could be doable if your vocab level is good, but probably pretty hard if you are still filling up day-to-day words. A good 5 hours if you have a second language, probably painfully longer if you don't.

Eh. It's kind of fun. You have to guess the correct translation of each word and spell them out using a line puzzle. The biggest downside is that this game uses American English, so you will be forced to spell things incorrectly. There was one level I was stuck on for quite a while because I simply didn't realise that Americans spell it differently. But in the end it's quite cheap, and not the worst word game I've ever played.

Rechts sehen wir dann das Buchstaben Rätsel Feld und wir bekommen nun links je nach Sprache 3-5 Wörter Angezeigt und müssen rechts im Buchstaben Feld nun die Englischen Wörter dazu finden. Man sollte schon gut in Englisch sein um hier weiter zu kommen [h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 16 Erfolge. Keines ist verpassbar. Man muss einfach alle 15 Stages bzw. alle 300 Level schaffen. Man kann es schon als kleine Lern Hilfe nutzen um einige Wörter aus einer Fremdsprache zu lernen aber man muss natürlich schon gut Englisch können. I love this game. You don't have to know another language to play. You pick which order you want the languages to give you clues. If one language doesn't give you a hint then just click a few times to see other languages. You can often tell from the foreign word, especially the more complex words are very similar to English and other languages. Russian never helped me. It's totally different. You often have to think of synonyms, like the clue is "thema" which is like theme and it's a seven letter word that starts with S and has a J in it.... subject. Part of it is finding the words, and part of it is making them fit together. The later levels will have four or five words in a letter grid, and it's like putting together a puzzle to fit the words in... You can use letters more than once, but you can't cross lines.

A puzzle game with 300 levels to solve where you have to connect words together from letters in a grid. The hints as to what words you need to make are offered in 6 different languages (you get to pick which/how many of the 6 you want from between Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, German, and Italian.). I can't comment about the rest of the languages, but the German and Italian translations are a bit weird/off sometimes. The UI also likes to keep breaking and making you restart the game but other than that it is fine. Works ok on Linux with Proton (7.0-1).

Du kannst bis zu sechs verschiedenen Sprachen auswählen, in denen du deinen Grundwortschatz auf die Probe stellen möchtest. Wenn du möchtest, hörst du dir die einzelnen Wörter in den jeweiligen Sprachen an. Du kannst dir den ersten Buchstaben des englischen Wortes anzeigen lassen. Hängst du fest, kannst du keine Auflösung im Spiel selbst anzeigen lassen. Insgesamt hast du knapp 300 Level zum Durchspielen. Laut Beschreibung auch über 1000 Wörter- das habe ich nun nicht nachgezählt- aber da in einigen Leveln mehr Wörter vorkommen, kann das gut möglich sein. Für den Preis ist dies echt ein schönes Vokabeltrainerspiel, für das ich gerne eine Empfehlung ausspreche, wenn du Englisch grundlegend kannst. Grafisch ist es so wie im Video dazu angezeigt, also simpel, aber ausreichend. Ich habe dies in den Zusatzsprachen Deutsch und Französisch getestet und konnte bisher keine Übersetzungsfehler feststellen. Wie das bei den anderen Sprachen und in komplett allen Leveln aussieht, weiß ich nicht -aber ich schätze, dass das Spiel fehlerfrei ist. Du erhältst dieses Spiel regelmäßig in Bundles zum ermäßigten Preis und meiner Meinung nach machst du damit nicht wirklich viel falsch, wenn du kleine Spiele für zwischendrin suchst, die auch für Kinder geeignet sind, die grundlegend Englisch können.
