After this, you definitely won't want to work as a night guard. In this game, mysterious events unfold at night in a bank. At first, you feel curiosity, what's really going on? But by mid-game, only one emotion remains: fear. The sole goal becomes survival, requiring you to collect all keys scattered across the location. The game boasts stunning graphics, intense gameplay, and clever puzzles. And since it's a horror title, your blood will run cold as you play. Prior to playing this game I had no girlfriend, no aspirations and a lackluster physique. After playing this game for a whopping 9 minutes, I still have none of those things. Would Not Recommend. 0/10
i wouldn't get it even for free. full of glitches, game is incompletely developed and sold as complete!
buy this if yall like "finding keys on desks simulator". also theres a cripwalking black man following you even though it wasn't scary or engaging, i had a good laugh with my friend making fun of this game so in that regard it is worth it
Night of Horror is a compact, atmosphere-driven experience that leans fully into the tension of being alone in a dark place where something feels off from the moment you arrive. Developed and published by STuNT, the game places you in the shoes of a night-shift guard assigned to a bank, only to quickly discover that your partner is missing and the building seems to breathe with strange sounds and flickering lights. Instead of layering on complex systems or elaborate story beats, the game chooses a stripped-down approach focused entirely on exploration, resource management, and the slow, creeping rise of dread. It’s the kind of horror experience that thrives on what you imagine might be lurking around the corner rather than presenting constant threats outright. What gives Night of Horror its unsettling tone is the mundane familiarity of its environment. A bank at night should be quiet, but here the silence feels unnatural. Long, empty corridors stretch into darkness, offices hum with faint electrical noises, and doors stand slightly ajar in ways that make you suspicious of your surroundings. Your flashlight is your lifeline, illuminating only narrow slices of space at a time while its battery drains steadily. This design choice forces you to move carefully from room to room, scanning shelves, drawers, and corners for batteries or keys. Because the game refuses to flood you with information, every door feels ominous, every unlit space feels like a trap, and every sudden noise raises questions you can’t yet answer. The first-person perspective helps build immersion in a very grounded way. You aren’t given weapons or special abilities — just the freedom to explore and the anxiety of not knowing what might happen next. Night of Horror relies on minimal mechanics: finding keys to open locked areas, picking up batteries to keep your flashlight functioning, and navigating a maze-like layout of hallways and offices. The simplicity works in its favor at times, allowing you to focus entirely on the atmosphere rather than juggling complex tasks. When the game leans into sound design, such as distant footsteps or a sudden echo from somewhere out of sight, it can deliver genuine moments of tension that feel earned rather than cheap. However, this pared-down approach also exposes the game’s limitations. The bank layout, though initially eerie, doesn’t evolve much as you progress. After enough time wandering its halls, you begin to internalize its structure, and the fear of the unknown gradually fades as repetition takes over. Because the core loop is built almost entirely around finding keys and managing light, the lack of variety in objectives can make the mid-game feel stagnant. Players looking for richer mechanics, puzzles, or narrative twists may find themselves wanting more depth or complexity. The absence of significant changes in pacing means that once you adapt to the rhythm of the environment, the horror relies almost solely on sound cues and slowly dimming lights to maintain its tension. The game’s indie roots are also visible in its technical execution. Lighting effects are functional but simplistic, and certain areas can feel visually plain or lacking in environmental detail. Interactions sometimes feel stiff, with object detection requiring precise positioning that momentarily interrupts the atmosphere. Animations and textures are serviceable but not polished, and while these are understandable limitations for a small-scale project, they occasionally detract from immersion in a genre where presentation is crucial. On the other hand, the game’s minimal requirements make it accessible to players on low-end hardware, which gives it a certain charm as an uncomplicated horror experience for quick sessions. Despite its rough edges, Night of Horror accomplishes what it sets out to do: create a sense of vulnerability and tension through isolation and darkness. It’s not trying to deliver cinematic scares or a sweeping narrative — its focus is the intimate discomfort of being alone in a quiet building that no longer feels secure. For players who enjoy psychological unease, slow pacing, and minimalist horror grounded in atmosphere rather than spectacle, the game provides a short but engaging experience. Its strength lies in its commitment to mood, and in the moments when your flashlight flickers, the hallway behind you settles into darkness, and you realize you’re not sure whether you truly are alone. In the end, Night of Horror is best approached with the right mindset. It’s a small, straightforward horror experiment that offers a handful of hours filled with tension, darkness, and the faint—but constant—sense that something is wrong. If you appreciate indie horror that embraces simplicity and atmosphere over action and complexity, it can be a satisfying dive into dread. If you’re expecting more elaborate mechanics or a deeply layered story, its limitations will be more noticeable. But within its focused scope, it delivers an unnerving slice of nocturnal fear.
