Where is my chinese?
I bought the game thinking it was the full version, like many back then, only to find that it was just a part of it. Sure, updates were free, but it still left a sore taste in my mouth. The gameplay is split in 2 types: you either fly the ship and shoot from top view, or grid based combat. Both are basic, and I found the shooting part more fun. The grid based combat definetly needs to be more varied and having more juice to it. The real highlight are the story and writing. The story is nothing new, but the characters are likeable and the writing is very funny. Anyway, it's a good game and I reccommend it.

This is a surprisingly good first game from StudioFOW. Think of more like a story game to sit back and watch. The characters and dialogue is quite fun, and you can and will sit watching the story go along for hours. The space combat is simple arcade style space shooting but fun. The ground combat I rather enjoy a lot and hope they flush that out in future games. You should support a developer willing to do risky things and put so much effort into it. I look forward to whatever they add to this game in the future our whatever comes next.

Compré Subverse junto con su DLC esperando un juego a la altura de su precio: por un lado, una jugabilidad frenética al estilo clásico de Galaga, y por otro, una novela visual interactiva que ofreciera profundidad narrativa. Pero vaya que me equivoqué. El primer gran problema es son las mecánicas de juego, resultan pobres y repetitivas. El sistema de combate carece de variedad y se siente más como un minijuego básico que como la experiencia completa de un juego de naves espaciales. La parte narrativa tampoco logra compensar estas carencias: Aunque la premisa es interesante y las escenas para adultos son sin duda de calidad, la ejecución es torpe y poco interactiva, no hay personalización de personaje, no cumple la etiqueta de "Rol", pues no hay ninguna interacción y el personaje principal es una copia descarada de Deadpool perv. No puedes cambiar su apariencia, nombre o interactuar de alguna forma en la historia mas que mover la cámara en las escenas para adultos. Otro aspecto que afecta gravemente la experiencia es la ausencia de localización al español. Para un título que pretende ofrecer una historia compleja y personajes con trasfondo, la falta de traducción limita enormemente la comprensión y disfrute de la trama. En definitiva, Subverse no cumple con lo que promete ni justifica su precio.
