Submarine Terror

It's an Iron-Lung style horror game about navigating the ocean while also trying not to die by an unknown creature. It does have its horror elements, you just have to play the game enough to get to them. Playing for about 20 minutes won't get you to any of the scary moments. The game is well-built, with fun and interesting mechanics, and it did actually scare me. This game is like a combo of Narcosis and Iron Lung. I highly recommend! It was on my wishlist for almost a year, and I was very glad when it finally came out. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS YAPPING ABOUT HOW IT'S NOT A HORROR GAME, IT IS! Short Summary: -Is it scary? Yes, but depends on how easily you get scared. It's a lot more nerve-racking and eerie then monster-in-your face-style scary. If Iron Lung scared you, this game absolutely will (a good way to describe it is Iron Lung on steroids). -How long is it? Around an hour, maybe a little longer, but it really depends on what ending you get. There are I think around 3 so far, the good, the bad, and the true (which I will not spoil!). -Is it hard? Not really. It can be a little bit confusing, but its not what I would call a "hard game". In terms of playing the game itself, it's not very hard. In terms of figuring out the story, that's a little harder. They give you little context except for something mysterious was responsible for the vanishing of two military submarines. You do figure out the story as you go along, even though there's not much of a story to tell. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend. It's relatively cheap as a bonus, so I highly, HIGHLY recommend you buy it and give it a try!

Также у вас есть возможность выйти из подлодки и отправиться вплавь, исследуя интересные места. Сложность заключается в том, что вам периодически предстоит избегать препятствий, таких как мины, заброшенные корабли и подводные скалы, о которые можно разбиться. Особенно увлекательна возможность вплавь исследовать локации: поначалу всё кажется просто, но по мере того как вы погружаетесь глубже, вы начинаете находить затопленные корабли, где можно обнаружить интересные вещи и пережить жуткие, атмосферные моменты. Атмосфера "бездны" здесь отлично передана — когда смотришь в темноту и вот-вот кажется, что оттуда что-то вылезет. Конечно, самая большая опасность — это существо, на которое можно наткнуться. Лучше избегать встречи с ним, иначе будет гейм овер. В целом, Submarine Terror — это отличный клон Iron Lung, который гораздо дружелюбнее к игроку с точки зрения управления и визуала. В отличие от оригинала, игра позволяет видеть, куда вы направляетесь, а также предлагает возможность исследовать местность снаружи субмарины. Атмосфера игры завораживает: вы совершенно один на дне океана, стараетесь избежать неизвестного монстра и раскрыть тайну происходящего. Если вам нравятся медленные, но затягивающие игры с механикой исследования, Submarine Terror обязательно стоит попробовать.

Great atmosphere, pretty scary!

Cool little game. Took a while to get a hang of the controls and how everything works but after that it went....'swimmingly'. Would recommend if you want to try out a bit of a jump scare.
