Wimmelbild Spiele sind was ganz besonderes .

Kurzes point- and click Spiel (ohne Wimmelbildszenen) mit schönen Bildern. Mit der Karte lässt sich gut zwischen den Orten herum springen. Dialoge kann man nicht überspringen und manche Animationen lassen sich auch nicht beschleunigen. Aber all dies hält sich von der Länge her im Rahmen.

The in-game art and play style are reminiscent of a classic point and click hidden object game (think Artifex Mundi, Alawar, Big Fish etc.) but it actually has no hidden objects and to be really honest. It felt like it did need them at times. There were so many scenes that felt just perfect for that. The game play art style looks very good. It’s pretty standard for this type of game. Now the art style for the cut scenes is so pretty and cute and much more colorful, very contrasting art styles but it works. The puzzles and exploration felt fun, the story of the house having its own thing also was fun since it gave way to apply some cool game mechanics. The story has a good ending, didn't feel rushed which is common. It was great to see a story end with no rush and that went with the theme. The extra chapter applies to this too. The story is very well told and tied everything together at the end. As a bonus, the story had some Dark Shadows vibes to it too. The collectibles felt like they didn't have consistency and I didn't have a way to plainly see (like in the map) if I had collected them already. Besides that, I didn't really have an issue with the game, and it was very entertaining to play.
If your looking for a short little adventure this could be for you. While there is nothing that stand out as fantastic, the art is nice and the feel of the game works well. Younger players might find the ghosts a bit haunting but id say that for only the youngest of kids, if you can handle the wizard of Oz this is more than fine. The over all mechanics work well and the puzzles are fairly logical for the most part. It's a good intro to this style of game so rather good for beginners. I did run into one bug with a sliding puzzles, but i tabbed out and back and the puzzle pieces moved. Id say grab it if you like this sort of game, or want to try one out why not. I also enjoyed the part of no hidden object scenes, it played a lot more like a classic adventure. There is also a good hint system which can help newer players or people that just like hints for better pacing. In the end i'd give this game a 6, it works, it has a rather basic story though so your not going to be wowed, but it's puzzles were fairly decent even if simple. It's just a nice little game to keep your brain working with some critical thinking. It's also a rather easy game to grab some achievements if your into that. If your looking at a deep solid adventure, you might want to look else where. But if you want something short and sweet that isn't really involved it could work for you.
I found this game mostly boring. I've played a lot of this types of mystery games growing up and I know there are fun and interesting ones, but this isn't one. The story was bland for me; the lack of emotion between characters was the biggest problem. I will say, even though it was boring, I liked the extra game, as it does it shows you how everything is hidden away, creating the puzzles you solve in the first game.

Short but fun little game. It did crash a couple of times, and it is possible to soft-lock progress by using a certain item in a certain place, without having the item needed to progress, which can't be picked up without the item that got locked in the first place.
